Ovulation Kits do work, but they only tell you the LH surge so you only have an idea of when you are ovulating (you could have already ovulated but the hormone is still in your urine). They can tend to get expensive, especially if you have an irregular cycle. You would probably want to invest in a personal ovulation microscope. Its easier, not as messy, and only a one time fee (you won't be back n forth to the Drug Store for pee sticks). Plus they ARE more accurate because they break down the ovualtion process into 3 stages (non fertile, transitional, and fertile) so you can see a clear difference of when and when not you are ovulating! Good Luck n Baby Dust!

There is an ovulation kit that you can use again. You can get them from the chemist. They use spit each morning to determin if you are ovulating. I have heard they are around $100, If you look around you might be able to get them cheaper. One brand I know of is Mabe Baby. Good luck

Yes, the kits work. But I suggest you make an appointment with your GYN they can better pin point your time of ovulation. The tests they have are much more accurate.

Kits do work at times, but out of curiosity I had my bf use his urine and it indicated that he was ovulating. I don't think that thats normal, so I wouldnt suggest them. Besides there costly, and sometimes more than one may be needed in one month if you don't detect a surge. Going to your gyn will easier.

Have you tried going to the dr and being put on progesterone. Dr.s put women on this to jump start their periods again and it also helps when you are TTC.
