What could this be?

I am wondering if this could be implantation bleeding maybe??

My last period was 2nd March, I had brown discharge/spotting on the 22nd march, lasted for 3 days. I also had cramping, headache and feeling sick. Now I don't feel anything and the spotting is gone.
I have either a 29 day cycle or a 39 day cycle.

I know that this was defiantly not a period, as it was not enough for a pantyliner and normally I am heavy. The colour was different too.

Any idea what this could be??

It is possible that it could be implantation bleeding because implantation bleeding usually occurs around the same time of your period-- a lot of women mistake it for their periods-- If it is implantaion bleeding you can probably take a test to see if it comes out positive-- once the egg implants it releases the HGc hormone which is detected on pregnancy tests-- the only thing is that the amount of the hormone is very minimal and sometimes you need to wait 2-3 days. try using the early pregnancy tests that detect the hormone four days early...if negative then try testing three days later when the hormone will have drastically increased..

it may be that your body is trying to adjust to the new baby!!!
some women who have normally heavy cycles will experience lighter bleeding like spotting and cramps. if it turns out that you arent pregnant, then it may be stress. stress causes your periods to get wonkey. Check with your OB.
