Pregnancy - October 2007

I know there's pleanty of hot heads about this. please don't get angry. I'm not taking sides. just wondering what your opinion is and the reasoning behind it????

At 12 weeks pregnant I began to have pain in my wisdom tooth but the dentist said he couldnt remove it because he couldnt x-ray the tooth. Instead I was given enthromycin to take ( i am allergic to penicillin).

I didnt always remember to take it on time but when I did remember, I took it. The pain seemed to subside for some months so I assumed the medication had done its job despite that I took it erratically.

Now I am almost 38 weeks pregnant and the pain has returned worse than ever! I am currently on about 4 paracetemol a day - the paracetemol works, but I just wonder whether its just better to get the tooth removed altogether now.

Are x-rays safe at this later stage fo pregnancy, or is it still dangerous? And in general is it safe to have the tooth yanked out at this late stage?

my boyfriend is wanting to know about early DNA testing before the baby is born..does anybody know anything about early testing and how they perform it.?

Recently, I have been feeling this sharp, internal tugging sensation. I am concerned since the sensation starts close to my belly button and ends down deep around the vagina. Has anyone else experienced something similar. Please respond with any advice or knowledge of this.

PS- I have an appointment with my doc next Wednesday

I am 7 months pregnant and i am looking into birthcontrol options for after the baby comes i have always used the depo before but i just hate the affects of it. i talked to my Dr. about having the IUD but i dont actually know anyone who has used it before. I would like to know from people who have, can u still have sex, anyway and as much as you want, without it falling out, is it painful, etc?

I am twelve weeks, going on thirteen weeks, pregnant with twins. I have always heard that a twin pregnancy last anywhere from 34-37 weeks which is eight months. Can a twin pregnancy last 40 weeks which is nine months?

I mean from working and planning to grading papers how do they ever get rest. Some of my teachers are awake till almost 1 oclock every night grading and planning. and then they have to wake up early to get dressed and drive to the school and get there before everyone else.

ok i am 24 years old,married for 7 years and pregnant with #3. my oldest is almost 3 and i am not sure if i may want another child LATER (5Years) or not but i would like to have that option. i am looking for a good birth controll other than the pill, or shot. i had the merina IUD and it came out of place and i had to have it removed. I was looking into have a tubal but i don't want anything permant, any suggestions?

This pregnancy is nothing like my last on, but it has also been 8 years since then. It's like clock work, every day at 2:45 I start to fall asleep. 5 days a week I am at work when it happens and I start to nod off in front of my computer! I absolutely can not be driving at 2:45 cause I'm afraid I'll crash.

I don't just get tired, I literally can't keep my eyes open!!

Does anyone know why this is happening? Or how I can fix it?

I am 19 and almost 27 weeks pregnant I have a boyfriend that can't commit I think he is just scared that his life is over but he thinks things are going to change when the baby is here because he is excited about a baby. I am always crying because I'm upset over the situation and I think it is starting to effect my health. I am just looking to listen to what some other people have to say. I have a lot of support at home but it is still hard. Anything will help thanks!

The 1st day of my last period is july18 which puts me at 9 weeks on sep19.i had an ultrasound on sep19 that also said i was 9 wks pregnant.is the ultrasound wrong? because the conception occurs only 2 weeks after your period.

ok so tomorrow i will be 39 weeks pregnant. i have not felt any contractions at all. is this normal? the doctor told me i was 2 cm dialated and soft. i have not lost my mucus plug yet or anything. i just feel some pressure down theere when i walk and move around but thats it. i cant sleep at night cuz i cant get comfortable but other hten that i feel pretty normal.. does this happen often, like has anyone else had situations liek this and what happened? like how much longer till you when into labor..

I just recently got out of the hospital after being there for a month. I was dialated to 2, and went into preterm labor with my twins. I am fine now, and so are the babies. I am still dialated to 2. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced this and how long you think I will carry for. I am on bed rest also, and I am taking it easy. I just wanted some input.

I am about 38 weeks pregnant. I have yet to experience a painful contraction. I do experience som tightening in my stomach but I think it feels more like th baby pushing really hard outwards againt my belly. It only last about 5 seconds but occurs at a pretty regualr interval about ever 7 minutes. Could this be a contraction? I am so ready to get this baby out of me, please tell me someone can relate to these feelings
