Prenatal DNA testing is possible however itshould bever be done for just curiosity's sake, because invasive testing like CVS or amnio carries a risk of miscarriage. It is also painful for the mother and expensive.

Prenantal genetic testing should only be done for a good reason.

Look up CVS or Amniocentesis on the internet for more information.

If you boyfriend is doubting his paternity, you can get a DNA test done immediately after the birth which is quick, painless and much cheaper.

Amniocentesis: This test is performed in the second trimester, anywhere from the 14th-20th weeks of pregnancy. During this procedure, the doctor uses ultrasound to guide a thin needle into your uterus, through your abdomen. The needle draws out a small amount of amniotic fluid, which is tested. Risks include a small chance of harming the baby and miscarriage. Other side effects may include cramping, leaking of amniotic fluid, and vaginal bleeding. A doctor's consent is needed to do this procedure for paternity testing.

Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS): This test consists of a thin needle or tube which a doctor inserts from the vagina, through the cervix, guided by an ultrasound, to obtain chorionic villi. Chorionic villi are little finger-like pieces of tissue attached to the wall of the uterus. The chorionic villi and the fetus come from the same fertilized egg, and have the same genetic makeup. This testing can be done earlier in pregnancy from the 10th-13th weeks. A doctor's consent is needed to do this procedure for paternity testing.

Paternity testing typically costs between $250.00 and $2,000.00, depending on the area in which you live in and the type of paternity testing you choose

personally i would wait until after the baby is born there is a lesser chance of something happening and it is going to be much much cheeper. ours cost around $200 through the court system and took about 2 weeks to get back.

good luck

I think you would have to have an amniocentisis or chronic villus sampling. Both carry a minor risk of miscarriage. CVS can be performed a little earlier than amnio, which can be done from around 16 weeks. These tests usually aren't recommended unless there is a chance of a problem with the baby. talk with your doctor - they should be able to give you more info

Amniocentesis is a medical procedure used in prenatal diagnosis of genetic risk factors, in which a small amount of amniotic fluid, which contains fetal tissues, is extracted from the amniotic sac surrounding the baby, then the baby's DNA is examined for genetic abnormalities. Its done with a long needle and can cause a miscarriage.

It involves getting a sample of cells from the mother, father, and the unborn baby. The getting the cells from the baby raises an ethical question since it is intrusive and potentially dangerous to poke it with a needle. That makes it unlikely you can get a doctor to do the procedure without a more important reason than just curiosity.

Native Americans aren't East Asians AT ALL. There is a bent amongst Eurocentric pupils centered on superficial likeness to assimilate Native Americans with East Asians. They have an excessively specific DNA. Eurocentric pupils do this plenty; perhaps they desire to end up that Native Americans aren't so "Native" in the end and that they're descendants of East Asians who crossed the Bering Strait hundreds of thousands of years in the past. The identical Eurocentric pupils do not do the identical factor with Melanesians, papuans and even the Olmecs (who look to have "African points"). They NEVER ask whether or not Melanesians, papuans and even Olmecs are African centered on their points. Equating Native Americans with East Asians proves that Eurocentric pupils and people who had been brainwashed via them have a racist time table.
