Pregnancy - October 2007

I have been up here complaining about my situation with the guy that got me pregnant, I am 4months pregnant, and he wants me to have a abortion etc, stating that we don't get along. I t's not that we don't get along it's that he has a girlfriend that feels a certain way about the situation so he is being a jerk to me. I guess he's scared that if I have the baby it would ruin his relationship with her. I have pleaded with him..not recently though about wanting the baby how the baby is a blessing, and he said he didn't want it. I stopped calling him changed my #, and now he's popping up at my house leaving notes under my door while I'm work, I just didn't want anything to do with him, so I called him today and I told him that I had the abortion and he flipped out on me and hung up. I didn't really have the abortion I just told him that in hopes that he will leave me alone now that I finally did what he wanted me to do. But I am lost why he cursed me out and hung up on me. Im 40 weeks today. And I know my chances of going into labor today are very slim. I've had pain down in my lower area for about two weeks now. But as of the last two days the pain has picked up two the point where I can't even walk around without crying. It feels like something is tearing down there. I also have so much pressure on my ribs from the baby that I have trouble Breathing at times and I cant even sleep. It doesnt matter which way I lay it just seems like the baby is wedged in my ribs. When I went to my Doctors appoinment on Tuesday I wad 2 cm dialted and The doctor said my Cervix was softened. I know that I just hit 40 weeks today but If i expressed to my doctor how much pain Im in do you think they would consider Inducing me... He said that If I didnt go by tuesday then hed set up an appoinment to be induce. But I truley dont think I can handle this pain anymore.... Any advise would be helpful

I didnt ask the doctor because I totally forgot and was never much of an issue.. I am 23 weeks pregnant, so maybe its just a side effect of it?

Hi all,
I went for my 2nd ultrasound scan on monday.. and my baby is absolutely fine :)
I was really worried that i would have miscarried without knowing or something.
It was hiding very well so we couldnt tell the sex.. till about 3 seconds before the end when he turned and revealed he was a boy! im very pleased about this :)
I asked her how much it would weigh.. and i remember her saying "2" but i cant remember which unit it was. My mum said it may have been kilo's but that would mean my baby is 4lb 6 and isnt that a bit big considering i was only 21 weeks at my scan ? Im coming up 22 now, and i would like to know does any1 know which unit of weight she might have said? Im concerned as if she said 2 kilos im worried the weight will double over the next 20 weeks. Im only 5 ft something and naturally skinny as ever and i have a bmi of 17.5 and was told my baby would be early. im very curious to know how much he weighs. I cant think of whether it was kilos or not.

My girlfriend and I had sex awhile back and I used the pull out method. I had to *** on her stomach.

Well, NOW she is pregnant. I asked her how it could be, and she said that she took some of the *** on her belly and quickly fingered herself with it. Which is weird and tricky actually.

Could that be possible?

I thought sperm dies if its outside a body? If sperm is outside the body for a few seconds and is then entered back into the vagina, does the sperm still live longer? Please help. I am stumped here!

I am not pregnant, but am sure to be one day, lol. I've had two caesarians (a year apart :-s) and want to start looking into home births after having two caesars. Any links, advice etc... I've been doing lots of research on skin integrity and episiotmies -vs- tearing, so I just thought I would ask what women prefer?!!? An episiotmy that could permanently damage your skin integrity and/or extend with a tear or tearing? Also does anyone who has had a previous episitomy have experience with a health care provider who has been able to keep her from any adhesions to the perineal area the 2nd time around by using warm compresses, controlled pushing and/or counterpressure?

the reason i ask is this ...i have always been kinda chubby ...i am 19weeks pregnant and i am already having really bad back pain and when i have tried to do some exercise i have ended up in pain and yesterday i was told to rest a lot because i might be developing Symphysis pubis strain....now i am really worried that the increasing weight i will put on f not controlled is going to make this worse and really cause problems..i figured if i joined weight watchers and stuff i could control how much weight i gain and hopefully make things easier .....what do you'all think ?

I am 20 and pregnant with my first child and I wouldn't change a thing except the toll it's taking on my body (lol) I have always had pretty big breast but now they have started to droop I'm not sure if they are gonna perk back up..but if they dont what kid of surgery can I have to make them not look so saggy...also is there any kind of surgery to remove stretch marks or at least make the fade to almost nothing?

I am 36 weeks... this wednesday I will be 37 weeks :)>

I have the strangest feeling in my stomach at the moment!! I feel like im nervous or scared but I have nothing to be worried about. It’s almost like butterflies but sometimes gets a bit painful! Nothing to harsh though. There is a possibility that I could be pregnant I was wondering if this could be a sign of that. If I am I would be very early about 4 – 5weeks. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and the doctor told me to watch for signs of labor which were one water breaking two mucus plug and three any fluid leaking....frist whats a mucus plug and second what does the fluid look like?
