Mine still hasn't ended, although it's not as horrendous as it was. I had serious bouts of vomiting well into my 18th week. I was prescribed Zofran at about 10 weeks because I could not even keep down liquids. If you get to that point, definitely speak with your doctor. It's better to take something to control it than to get dehydrated. Non of the non-medical stuff they told me to do worked, but separating liquids and solids when I ate helped a little. That means eat a primarily dry diet, don't eat and drink together, and don't eat anything with a high liquid volume. Best of luck and congrats, and I hope you feel better soon. If you're lucky (like I wasn't) you won't suffer long - typical morning sickness clears up around 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Ah, that was the not so fun part. I remember waking up at 2am every night sick and crying to Dh that we should have just adopted, I wasn't made to do this. It does end sooner than you might think. As sad as it is you kinda get used to it. Give your doctor a call, they have all kinds of tricks up there sleeves. Mine suggested taking a few days off of work and sleeping as much as I could while eating every 30min while I was awake. Just small amounts every 30 min to keep food on my stomach, no meals. Stick to basic carbs at first, crackers, pasta, white bread...this helped a lot. It gave me time to figure out what sat good and what didn't so I could handle it while at work. If I couldn't get anything else down a glass of milk sat really well. For some people they find exactly the opposite.

Usually it will let up in the second trimester (after 3 months), and I really hope it does for you!! I had morning sickness for most of both my pregnancies, and lost weight.
My advice??
Have some ginger cookies or something light next to your bed and have a nibble before your feet even hit the floor... it can help. Also go to your naturopath and ask for any morning sickness rmeemdies, they sometimes help.
Just hold on to the thought of holding your angel!! It is hard, but you can do it!
Take care, God bless :-D

Morning sickness begins around week 6 of pregnancy, peak during week 8 or 9 and wane after week 13.The main cause of morning sickness is a combination of issues related to the chemical changes your body is going through. We don't know how far pregnant you are.It is good to have morning sickness. My doctor smiles when I tell him I have morning sickness. Then he knows everything is still fine with the baby.Nausea make you aware of what you eat or do.Okay your answer.Around 10-12 weeks it can start to get better. There are pills that you can take for it.So get a prescription and make it better.
If you have it in the mornings.Eat a biscuit or a ginger biscuit before you get out of bed.Don't get to busy to quick.Take it calm.If you have it through the day snack on a ginger biscuit

Morning sickness usually lasts for about 3 months. Some women it's longer and for some it's shorter, everyone is different. Good luck and congratulations!

Its different for everyone... mine started conveniently at a concert around 8 weeks pregnant and tapered off around 12 weeks. It usually lets up for most people in the second trimester.

Depends on how many weeks is your pregnancy. Generally for first three months, on and off, depends from person to person. I had it only for a month in the second month. But you have to analyze what makes you feel like vomiting. For me if I had anything which had citrus I would vomit for my first child, but for my daughter, I could eat anything which is home made, any outside food would make me vomit.
Similarly analyse yourself to reduce the discomfort.
