should I go to work if I strained a round ligament and it hurts so bad I can't stand up straight or take deep breaths?

The pain is on the upper right side of my belly... like two inches above the belly button and to the right two inches.

I first felt the pain when I got out of the car(rather quickly) and that was yesterday..it still hurts today and I have to work

I would take off a day or 2 and see how you're feeling. You can take Tylenol and also you can use a heating pad on the lowest setting if the ligament is not in your tummy-I'm assuming its in your back or leg? Also you should see your doctor to make sure its not something else such as a blood clot which can cause extreme pain and unfortunately being pregnant puts you at a little higher risk for one. That sounds like any round ligiment pain to me... I couldnt walk for a couple weeks and had to hold my belly. It hurt especially getting up off the sofa.
I wouldnt work like that, its hard on your body. But i think every pregnant woman has the same horrid pain.
