I didnt ask the doctor because I totally forgot and was never much of an issue.. I am 23 weeks pregnant, so maybe its just a side effect of it?

Yes it is. Heart palipitations are common in pregnancy. You can google it. I had the same thing and it scared the shiot out of me. But it is commonly found in pregnancy, and its not a health risk to you or baby.

That's because EKG only shows what the heart is doing at the moment the measurement was taken. It doesn't show what it did in the past or what it will do in the future. What you will need is is a recording device that will record your heart for 24 hours. There is a lunch box sized device that you can carry around and will continuously record your heart beat. A cardiologist will have to be consulted for this. Good luck.

your body is processing a lot of extra blood, that may have something to do with heart flutters. whenever i feel like that i usually just take a quiet minute and deep breaths.

heart flutters? could you explain?? oh is it like your heart is racing? cause i get that all the time! i can also see my veins & feel the blood in them.. so weird! but i think it's all pregnancy & i don't worry because my blood pressure is always normal..

Same thing happened to me. I had tests done and everything was okay. It has something to do with the increased blood flow in our bodies.
