I-Pill must be taken within 72 hours. See link below.

Birth control pills work very well when taken properly.
Hormone implants work, too.
There are hormone rings, I'm not knowlegable about them.
There are spermicidal creams, suppositories, films and foams, etc., that you can get, usually best when used with barrier methods (condoms, diaphragm).
Abstinence (not having any sexual contact) works best of all.
IUDs are effective, but you must've had one child already for them to implant it.
Tubal ligation for women, vasectomy for men is almost completely effective, however, this is permanent, so it's not a good choice if you want to have children in future.

The best answer is not having sex, it is the only 100 % effective method, but I am guessing you already know. There are a lot of other methods that are relatively effective. I don't know what the i pill is do you mean the day after pill? It needs to be taken as soon as possible and the pharmacy where you get ti should tell you exactly how much to take. I am guessing there is more than one kind out there so it would depend on the brand you get. Other options to prevent pregnancy is the pill, the patch, a shot. a diaphragm, and spermicide to name a few. You should really talk to a doctor about which method would be best for you since they all have different side effects.

First and so much robust isn't to have intercourse. No toddlers, no STD's. Second is to make use of no less than one variety of birth control, or greater nonetheless, a couple of eg. the contraceptive capsule (taken mostly) and condoms, condoms and spermicide. Remember best condoms present any security towards a sexually transmitted sickness (S.T.D.). Thirdly you would use the Billings Method that is a combo of taking your vaginal temp., charting your intervals, and noting any mucus. These will assist you to recognize while perception could take position, and also you avert having intercourse wherever close that point. Not well when you or he don't have any manage. Fourthly and via a long way the least safe is the withdrawal procedure. He pulls out earlier than he ejaculates. A lot of unforeseen toddlers occur this fashion. Just consider - Never make like to any individual you would not wish to be the mum or dad of your little one, when you consider that there may be continuously the probability.

The best way to avoid pregnancy is abstinence. It is the only thing that is 100%.

Aside from that, I don't know anything about the "I Pill" but would say to consult your doctor about a good birth control pill to take. I would try to use the pill with spermicidal lubricant as well, just as an added precaution.

Good luck in your search.

Of course don't have sex is the only way. Pills are prescribed by a doctor and you need to follow the instructions very closely and yet they are NOT 100% effective.

Adding condoms will help but won't make it 100% effective.

You should always be using condoms anyway because that will help prevent sexually transmitted diseases. But again NOT 100% effective.

The only way to avoid pregnance is DO NOT HAVE SEX

Yep. the best way to avoid getting pregnant is to not have sex.

I've not heard of the " i Pill", but other methods include an IUD, a hormone ring, tubal ligation, uterine oblation ( this cauterizes the entire interior of the uterus, and you stop having periods),
the standard pill, I don't think they sell sponges anymore, but that was my favorite, Vasectomy for your partner.

I've got to tell you though, that I have a friend who has four kids... she's gotten pregnant on every non-surgical form of birth control. This is a smart woman who used these things as directed.

Sorry, but the only way of doing that is abstinence. This is because the only way to avoid pregnancy without using condoms not to have sex at all.

The best way is abstinence. Unfortunately all other forms of birth control are not 100%. The pill, patch, iud, etc. are helpful but have all failed many women.

Not having sex is the safest way to prevent pregnancy. Honestly if you have to ask these questions on this site you should get yourself down to the Dr and disscuss your best options of birth control with him/her.
