Mine was a dull ache, like holding your mouth open wide for a long time. Since I am older, my period cramps are a sharp pain.

It would depend on how sore they are, is the pain bearable and there's definatley no leaking or bleeding? I was getting sharp stretching vaginal pains accompanied with nerve pain in my back sometimes, when I went to the doctor they told me it was my ligaments and muscles pulling the pelvis apart, I now have a fembrace to wear. The full name is pregnancy related pelvic pain... I would look into this xx

The easiest description is that the labor is dullish with sharper parts and the actual delivery and crowning of the head is pretty sharp. But it really depends, even different pregnancies for the same woman can be quite different.

childbirth is an unexplainable pain, everyone differs. although for me it was VERY painful, it is all worth it in the end. Trust me, when you finally see your baby for the first time, you completely forget about the pain. Here I am, ttc#2 and go through it again.
