You can go to the gym assuming you feel up to it. Just make sure not to do anything out of what is comfortable so if you do a hard workout you may want to tone it down a little. No super hot showers or baths(no hot tubs) because you don't want to raise your temp. Tylenol, tums, and benedryl are all fine, if you take anything else call your doctor first. Make sure to cook all meat completely, food poisoning is a big deal while you are pregnant and should be avoided. This means that lunch meats and hot dogs should also be cooked before eating them. If you have a cat have your SO take over on litter box duty now, it's because of parasites in the poo. Sleep however you want and wear whatever clothes you are comfortable in.
You should go for a pre-conception visit with your doctor(obgyn or midwife) to get on prenatal vitamins and they may want to do a little blood work to check on your overall health. At this point they should give you all kinds of fun reading material about what not to do and when you should call if there is a problem.
Remember to always call your doctor if there is ever a question or concern, they will always take your call and no question is too small. Also call your doctors office as soon as you get a pos. hpt to make your first appointment. It is true that most doctors won't see you until 8-12wks but sometimes it takes that long just to get an appointment.
Good Luck!!!!

Your first visit to the doctor when you find out your pregnant they will give you info. But maininly its just no drugs or alcohol, no extreme moving, no real heavy lifting, make sure your eating at least 3 times a day. You can only take tylenol, no advil or anything. You can take tums and benedryl also. Just go to google and type it in some web sites should come up. Your first trimester is very important thats when most miscarriages happen. Just be careful and ask a doctor.

Talk to your doctor. Exercise is actually encouraged during pregnancy, but within limits. You cannot smoke, drink, do drugs, eat shellfish, lift anything over 25 pounds... There is a book called "Your Pregnancy Week by Week" which is a great resource, unfortunately I can't find it to give you the authors name. This book is also a great resource for preparing your body before pregnancy. Start taking prenatal vitamins now. Any drug store sells them in the women's health aisle. Good Luck!

You really need to talk to an ob/gyn and you can always exercise it is recommended because it will strenghten the muscles for labor and delivery. Of course as long as you don't lift super heavy weights. www.webmd.com or www.babycenter.com
there you can get questions from real doctors

Is your puppy spayed? Was your puppy in season? If she is not spayed & you do not know if she used to be in warmness. She used to be walking with a male for per week & you noticed them mate. Yes, she possibly is pregnant. Spay NOW.

You cant drink, or smoke, or do drugs. Beyond that, everything is fine. You can do everything you did before you were pregnant when you are pregnant. Nothing changes. You just tone it down the bigger you get.

In addition to the suggestions the other people have noted, you may want to start your prenatal pills now.
