Pregnancy - October 2007

my last period started on oct. 1st.. it was actually my last month's worth so i had to make an appointment to get a new prescription (which is next week). my husband and i have had unprotected sex about 5 or 6 times since my period ended. what are the chances of conception and how long should i wait before i test? should i ask my ob/gyn to do a blood test when i go in for my appointment? i have had some slight pressure feelings in my pelvic area the past few days but i don't know if its my imagination or what! i'm getting confused. anything will help at this point lol

my period was supposed to come yesterday and it still has not come. My LMP was 09/21/07. I usually get bad cramps before, and it is always on time...I had sex on 09/28, 10/02, and 10/05...the past few weeks, I have been feeling very tired, going to sleep early, eyes burning at work due to being tired, I have swollen tender breasts, urinating more frequently, always want red meat, crazy dreams, my face broke out...I know these symptoms mimic PMS, but has anyone experienced these symptoms and found out they were pregnant? Also-I have a large mucus plug come out, and it had a drop of blood in it. I have had a large amount of clear cervical mucus come out, and I ran to the bathroom, thinking it was my period (last week) and it was not. I have been having discharge more than usual, no unusual smell, but sometimes thicker, and a lot of it during the day...I am aware that pulling out is not 100 percent, and I would not mind being pregnant, so that is not an issue.

ok before i start this is not a preaching question its my opinion about a select group of ppl not everyone .

do you feel its wrong for girls that use abortion as a form of birth control, instead of taking the responsiblity and buying condoms or taking birth control as perscribed( meaning every day at the same time and not take anything that will make the pill no work such as antibiotics)?

do you think if they made it so that only girls that have been raped or if the baby will kill the mother if carried full term less ppl would disagree with abortion?

(the rape victim would need a hospital and police report)

i'm 30 weeks pregnant and the last few days i have felt like i have to go #2 but i don't. Today I've been cramping and had low back pain off and on. Not constant or regular but I feel like I have to go #2. Is this normal or should i be concerned?

I'm 61/2 weeks pregnant but still just don't feel too different! My nipples felt a little different but today feel fine! Did anyone feel just normal during their pregnancy and it turn out just fine? Or does this mean that my hormones aren't working the way they're suppose to?

When i went to the bathroom this morning, i noticed alot of stringy mucusy like discharge and clumps of it in the toilet. It has been like that for a while and I am having cramping.contrax's for the last week. I lost my mucus plug on tuesday. After I took a shower and dried off really good. i took my mirror and held it down there to see if I saw anything..(tmi sorry) well it was clear/white like chunks of mucus commin out. My underwear has been feeling wet and my va-jaja just feels funny(tmi sorry). What do you think this could be?

My brother in law's girlfriend of 3 years just found out that she is pregnant.... and says that it is twins. She is 6 weeks and said that at her dr's appointment 10 days ago they told her that it was twins. I guess I am just wondering that someone that at the time would have only been 5 1/2 weeks would they be able to tell.

I am a mother of 3 but have never had an ultrasound before 8 weeks.

I am just a little worried... I am going to have to rethink the way I eat entirely. I don't eat a lot of junk, but A LOT of things have carbohydrates and I know how limited those are when you have gestational diabetes. Thanks for your answers!

is it safe to marterbate when you're in the first month or few weeks?? i heard that if you do you can lose a baby easily that way. kind of like abortion but the baby isn't really made at all yet.

Ok...Im 33 weeks pregnant. Also, it was confirmed by an ultrasound (first-time). I dont have periods...So in that gestation age would the extra 2-3 weeks be added into it as it would in an normal pregnancy for someone who HAS periods STILL be added into how far along I am? So to speak that I have "technically" been pregnant for 30-32 weeks?

My best friend just found out she is pregnant...it was unexpected and we have been going out drinking...not very much but at least a couple of times. I'm scared that we may have hurt the baby...she obviously isnt drinking now or anything but what do you think the chances are of the baby being affected by a couple of drinks??

I am 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. I was taking Clomid and got pregnant on the first cycle. I just went to the doctor this morning and he said that he couldn't see a heartbeat through the ultrasound. He said the sac has grown but the fetus hasn't gotten bigger. He said that I will miscarry. My concern is maybe I am not as far along as he said I am. I know that in six weeks doctors can usually detect a heartbeat. I am not feeling any back pain or anything and I have not began bleeding. If you all have been through this before please let me know. Should I get a second oppinion?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and had a Pap Smear and Internal exam on Tuesday along with an ultrasound, wondering if anyone else has had one done while pregnant and if you had experience bleeding for a couple of days after, My blood type is also A- so they gave me a shot just in case that what the bleeding was from, and I am now currently have discharge with brownish, redish blood through it sorry TMI, anyone else experience this after there exam?

Im 37 1/2 weeks and went into the hospital two days ago. I was moitored and confirmed that I was having contractions, I was dialated 1&1/2 centimeters. Before I got there, I was having contractions pretty badffor about two days. Now all is calm. I thought I was going to have a baby. How can contractions and dialation just stop. This is my second pregnancy and the first time when I had contractions that painful they only got stronger and I delivered the next day. Why didn't it just keep progressing until I gave birth
