my last period started on oct. 1st.. it was actually my last month's worth so i had to make an appointment to get a new prescription (which is next week). my husband and i have had unprotected sex about 5 or 6 times since my period ended. what are the chances of conception and how long should i wait before i test? should i ask my ob/gyn to do a blood test when i go in for my appointment? i have had some slight pressure feelings in my pelvic area the past few days but i don't know if its my imagination or what! i'm getting confused. anything will help at this point lol

there is always a chance. definately take a test before starting new BCPs, as they can cause birth defects. I can't say your chances, as they are reduced by the fact that you were on pills (although you didn't state how long you were on them before you stopped.)

It is possible to get pregnant. I had my period on Jan. 3rd of this year. It was a regular one. I put the ring in just after and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I ended up not liking the ring and took it out a couple weeks later. Around Jan 20th I had another period (right after I took out the ring). We had more unprotected sex (stupid but I don't mind because I am going to love my baby). I didn't get my period in Feb, I though maybe because I had 2 in Jan. I started feeling some common pregnancy symptoms and in march (on the 6th, my mom's b day..happy birthday mom) I took a test and found out I was pregnant. :)I am now 39 weeks pregnant and waiting for her to come out! :) So yeah, you can get pregnant. I would definately ask your OB/GYN for a test your next apointment, it never hurts to be sure!:) Good luck! :)

I got pregnant my first month off the pill so it is possible. But you need to wait until your period is due to take a urine test. I would just try not to worry about it and ask the doctor what he thinks. And don't have any more unprotected sex before the doctors appointment.

Pregnancy is always possible. I got pregnant on the pill, so there is definately a chance you could be.

You wouldn't be the first! :) Test when and if you miss your period.
