Pregnancy - October 2007

I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I'm really stressed out. My puppy who was only ten and a half months old got hit by a car on Wednesday and I'm having a really hard time dealing with her death.

She was more than my puppy. I saw her when she was being born and knew the second she came out that she was going to be mine. I instantly had an attatchment/bond with her ever since then. She was like my baby...my shoulder to cry on...the one thing I would go to whenever I was upset. She was my pretty little girl and my best friend and now she's gone.

I was so upset when my brother found her that I started to throw up and just cry nonstop. I'm doing somewhat better. I stopped getting myself so worked up that I'm not throwing up anymore, but whenever I think about her, I just breakdown. The only thing that is keeping me together is this baby. I'm doing my best to stay strong and calm for my daughter. but sometimes it's just so hard.
How do I deal with this w/o gettin stressed?

yeah, so last week i was at my normal monthly dr visit, and i was measuring at 34.. 36 weeks so they scheduled me for a ultrasound... it went normal, i knew we were having a baby girl from our 1st ultrasound at 21 weeks. but they kept us after to talk to a dr she said she found a second smaller placenta. is that because there WAS twins?? or could it be that theres one hiding??? im still measuring big.. but with one baby!!

she's 3months and a week pregnant on friday(20th october)

ok ill get to the point on what am trying to say....

my girl friend has been having pains on her stomach, she's been getting this for few day's now and she was getting paranoid so she rang the doctors up they turn around and say she isn't registered at her doctors sergury... so i said whats there number and i'll speak to them, she wouldnt give me there number so bout few minutes later she rang me up saying the nurse has told her to come doctors today a.s.a.p so i went straight to her house , all worried and hoping there both ok so we can go to the doctors a.s.a.p but no! she told me she canceled the appointment

i just need to know if she's hiding something from me that she aint pregnant., her belly feel hard and has got a tad bigger but she doesnt look 3months and a week pregnant

people who want to get pregnant have trouble concieving and people who dont want a baby, always get pregnant? Im saying this because i was trying so hard to concieve with my ex and it never happened but when i met my current boyfriend, that was the farthest thing on my mind and then BAMM!!!

i'm 8 weeks and already am gaining weight. i have all day nausea and a very fussy tummy. I've been exercising and dieting prior to pregnancy, but now am nauseated by most smells and foods. i'm eating crackers and seven up like crazy to combat nausea and its making me gain. not This si my third pregnancy and i always gain 15 lbs. the first trimester due to the crackers and seven up, i odn't want to do it again but i'm so sick? what can i do to relieve nausea and not gain weight.

my sister is supposed to have a scheduled c-section in 2 weeks because the baby is breached. We've been talking about how weird it is to have a baby without having to go through labour and all that excitement (and pain). By excitement, I mean the moment your water breaks, the rush to the hospital, the contractions, the pushing ect. Do any of you feel "cheated" out of the childbirth experience?

I'm 13 and yes i admit i have had sexual intercourse don't moan at me about that please. Basicly i think im pregnant, ive been having stomache pains and it looks like i have some kinda of lower bump. I am 27 weeks pregnant. Swelling started for me in my 3rd month but it was really hot here then and the Dr. said there was nothing I could do but eat very little salt and drink tons of water. Course I did that but it didn't help due to the heat. Well, it had eased up some since it got cooler out but of course it hasn't went away completely. Now it is very painful. It's mainly in my legs, ankles, and feet. My skin feels so tight like it could bust literally. Like I said, I know not to eat salt and to drink lots of water. Any other advise? At my last visit my blood pressure and everything was fine so,so far I am not toxemic....

I had my first ultrasound at exactly 16 weeks three days ago. The person who did it was not a doctor, but an intern. The heart rate was 140.2, and i did see the fetus move around as well. I wanted to know the sex of the baby but the lady was not able to tell. Well she gave me 2 pics of the ultraound, but it just looks kind of "weird" to me because i have seen some 16 wk old fetus ultrasounds and they all look normal to me, just like regular tiny babies. Bu mine looks "different" i guess. I can see the head, and little feet, but the body and and shape of the face and head doesn't look like the other pictures of fetuses that i have seen before. I don't know if this is all normal or if it's just me being scared.

I am sure this is a very common question, but I am somewhat new to this site so I haven't really seen it on here.
My question to all of you is, if you loose your mucus plug, will you definately notice it? I know it doesn't always fall out in one big nasty blob (sorry, that sounds kinda nasty). Has anyone ever not noticed that they lost theirs? If so, or not, can you please let me know? I am familiar with mucus plugs and what they are there for..just had that question for who ever wants to answer.:) Thanks for your time!:) (I am 39 weeks pregnant and WAITING). :)
