pregnant question?

My friend just got pregnant and she wants and abortion in Saint Louis, except she doesn't know where to go and she short of freaks out.
I was wondering what should she do? Please, this is not an ethical question.

Check out this list at the link above. The best contact is Planned Parenthood even if they do not offer abortions at thier facilities they can counsel her to help her make her own decision with the least trauma. They are able to refer to abortion providers.

Be very careful, there are many so-called "crisis pregnancy centers" and others with deceptive names that will do many emotionally abusive things to a woman considering a termination of a pregnancy.

Go with her, hold her hand. Do not let her go to any of the dangerous and deceptive places. Be aware, they may tell her anything on the phone just to get her to come to them. Some women have been held against thier will in attempts to bully and emotionally beat them into keeping an unwanted pregnancy.

I had a friend that went to Planned Parenthood. She received counseling before hand to make sure she was mentally secure with it. She later had a child and said the first time she was pregnant, the abortion was the best thing she could have done since she was to young at the time. Tell your friend not to freak out and get counseling first. I don't know how old your friend is, children are a great gift from God.

If she wants an abortion badly enough in St. Louis .. she will seek the information .. and probably be provided with all the answers she needs .. but she may have to hunt for them.

She needs to accept the consequences of her decision to have unprotected sex. The baby inside of her did not ask for this or make the decision. She needs to find people who will love and support her during her pregnancy and then give the baby up for adoption, if she decides she cannot or does not want to keep the baby.

I have seen too many women who have major emotional and other problems many years later..... at first they think it's good to have an abortion...... but the fact that they killed a baby never leaves them...... and haunts them later.

Of course it's an ethical question. Is this her first child she will be killing, or second, or third? Just wondering. I just wonder what goes through a womans mind when making such a decision. "Gee, I really think going to college is much more important than this little person growing inside of me, so I'll just kill it." How do they live with that?

It is an ethical question. The mother who chooses to abort her child must understand that the only reason she can do so is because the child cannot look her in the eyes and scream. Any mother capable of loving her child could not do such a thing....

Gees... im not so sure whr about in saint louis but how far along is she?? i mean if she preg for more than 3 mths i doubt the docs wld wanna do an abortion...

if she does exert excersise i think it wld work... or mayb she cld go down to the pharmacy and see if they know any med or doc tt cld help her....

don't go abortion. the child has a right to life too. if you're old enough to have sex in the first place, then you're old enough to understand teh consequences of sex too, such as getting pregnant. if you don't want a baby, THEN PRACTICE SAFE SEX! you have an abortion, then you're a murderer in my books and with all do respect, i hope you end up in hell for doing it. consider adoption. what's so hard with that?

Plead with her to give the baby up for adoption. If she murders her child, she will regret it for the rest of her life. All women do at one point or another. I guarantee it. It can also sterilize her for life by having one done.

Planned Parenthood does NOT care about women or babies. They only care about money. They will not take good care of her. They are in the business of murder for money. That is all.

Planned Parenthood can help her... tell her to look them up on the internet and then find a phone number. The longer she waits, the worse she will feel about making this decision. Tell her to at least seek advice through them. They will help her through whatever she decides. Good luck to you and your friend.
