my period was supposed to come yesterday and it still has not come. My LMP was 09/21/07. I usually get bad cramps before, and it is always on time...I had sex on 09/28, 10/02, and 10/05...the past few weeks, I have been feeling very tired, going to sleep early, eyes burning at work due to being tired, I have swollen tender breasts, urinating more frequently, always want red meat, crazy dreams, my face broke out...I know these symptoms mimic PMS, but has anyone experienced these symptoms and found out they were pregnant? Also-I have a large mucus plug come out, and it had a drop of blood in it. I have had a large amount of clear cervical mucus come out, and I ran to the bathroom, thinking it was my period (last week) and it was not. I have been having discharge more than usual, no unusual smell, but sometimes thicker, and a lot of it during the day...I am aware that pulling out is not 100 percent, and I would not mind being pregnant, so that is not an issue.

Thanks for your responses! I have my fingers crossed. I do not want to test too early and be disappointed, so I think I will wait a few days before I test.

well to respond to *Vwgirl 18*, you can be pregnant and show signs this early. last year from august to sept. almost same dates, actually my lmp was august 21, had sex on almost all same days( we were trying to get pregnant), i was suppose to have a period around sept 19-21 and ddnt. i did have some of those same symptoms and took a test 1 day after expected period, i now have a 5month old daughter! shes actually 5mnths TODAY! :) - pulling out is not the way to go if your avoiding motherhood. it may be your imagination playing tricks on you, but clear it all up and take a test. their are test available to take even if your not late yet. good luck

The coitus interruptus method is like playing Russian roulette with all the chambers full but one! It's really a joke.
The symptoms you list are not from pregnancy because you are not far enough along. If anything they are do to stress or PMS, as you surmised.
I think you can take a test now, but it is early and may not be accurate. It is just time to wait and reflect. You'll know for pretty sure in a week or two.
Why not make a more definite decision for future actions? It seems like you kind of used protection, but not really. Go for what you actually want and avoid putting yourself in the "victim's position".

Your symptoms sounds like they could be pregnancy. Those are the same symptoms I had...except for the mucus plug thing. That is kinda wierd. If you want a really early accurate response go to a clinic and get a test done there. :) Good luck either way!:)

well the bloodspot in the discharge could mean your period is coming soon,
the mucus plug comes out right before the baby so maybe you see a heavier discharge,
i though people only use the pullout method to say they got pregnant by accident, (but who are we kidding),
pregnancy symptoms for most usually occur around the 3rd or 4th week and thats if your lucky i only threw up 1 time and that was my only sickness and i was already 12 weeks but i didnt even know.

I am pregnant right now and we did the "pull out" method. Definately not effective but we are extremely excited...all of these symptoms do seem like symptoms of pregnancy but the only way you'll know for sure is if you take a test...everyone is different.

ok then take a pregnancy test and find out if you are pregnant, you have a lot of signs of pregnancy so what can i possible say besides take a test
and another thing, you do not lose your mucus plug until you are about to go into labor

You could either be pregnant or stressed, you have common symptoms of both. I suggest instead of taking an OTC pregnancy test, visit your OB/GYN and get a blood pregnancy test done, it's alot more effective than the urine one. Good luck!!

Drop of blood could have been implantation bleeding which would mean you are pregnant...but no way to tell unless you take a test. i had good luck with first response pregnancy test. Dectected after only two days after my missed period!

Theres no way to know anything unless you pee on a stick.
The pull out method is only a slightly less effective way of making babies, NOT a way to avoid them. So theres every chance that you're pregnant.

Yes, you could be pregnant. Take a test.
