The #2 feeling is your baby pressing down on your cervix, getting ready for birth. You need to go to the hospital or your Dr. and have them check you, it sounds like it is almost time. If you are worried about going early, then you really need to get in so they can stop you before it is too late.

I certainly noticed a lot more pressure around 32 wks with my second baby, but didn't really notice cramping or back pain. Have you had Braxton-Hicks contractions with this pregnancy, or do you think that's possible what these cramps are? Does is get better or worse, or stay the same when you lay down for about 30 mins? Try to note those things and it may be worth a call to the doctor's office if you don't have an appt pretty quick.
Another thing I noticed btw with my pressure feeling as the baby was dropping into place those last few weeks, when I sat on the toilet, the pressure was greatly relieved. I didn't have to go #1 or 2, just the position I was in made it feel much better. Try that as well, if nothing more than to feel a minute or two of the pressure relief. I know where you're coming from with that for sure!!

I would bring it up at your next apointment if you don't have any other symptoms. Or, if you need to be reassured, shoot a call to your OB, that never hurts anything and you will feel a lot better as soon as you get off the phoine:). Your baby is gaining weight and getting larger. I noticed some pressure at around 30 weeks also. Depending on the position and weight of your baby, you will be noticing pressure like that and on your cervix. Sometimes I also get the rectal pressure depending on my baby's position. The cramping and lower back pain could be some nasty contractions. As long as they aren't consistant I would try not to worry about it...I would probably call my OB before my next visit just to be reassured. I had lower back pain (dull, not sharp), with false labor contractions around week 35. I had them every 1-3 minutes for two hours. After an hour of timing them and drinking water, and resting, I called the birthing center. They told me to drink more water and rest more and to come in in another hour if they don't stop. I rested, drank water, walked, and they didn't stop so I went in. They monotored me and gave me a couple shots to stop them. I haven't had false labor since. They told me I just have an irritable uterus! :) Try not to worry, and remember it never hurts to call your OB, they get questions like that alllll the time. :)...it could also be some gas bubbles in there...i've had that happen too and it doesn't feel good..hehe....

Call your dr. That's what he's paid for--to answer your questions.
