my baby is now head down and been feeling really funny, ive got a headache and been getting alot more discharge than normal and feel sick, get the odd stomach cramp and sometimes its hard to breath and makes me feel light headed, plus everyone keeps saying my bump is really low down and dont think i will go full term, im just getting worried about everything, just want everything to go ok for my baby, any suggestions to help me feel better please. xx

Three of my sisters have experienced this horrible problem after baby has arrived and I don't think doctors are warning them of these nightmarish events; perhaps so, I don't know, but each one has turned into an unbelievable monster . I have not enjoyed being around them after their babies have arrived.

so all last night i had a really bad tooth ache it hurts so bad that i couldnt sleep at all my question is does my baby feel the hurt too and did he not sleep all night cuz i didnt?? i go to the dentisi in like 20 min thank god

I have had three very healthy uneventful pregnancies, then I had a miscarriage at the beginning of August at only 5 weeks along. And now I'm pregnant again, and am 4 weeks along. I'm just wondering what are my chances of having another miscarriage or if I shouldn't be worried about it happening again. So I kind of want to get an idea of what others have gone through. So if you will please answer how many you have had, how far along you were when you had it/them, and how soon after you got pregnant again? Thanks!

I don't know what the deal is but i just feel strange lately. And The past two days I cannot stop dry heaving..it's really annoying because I know I'm not going to throw up..but the heaving..ugh. It makes me feel awful. I'm 8 days until I'm supposed to start..when can I test?

I sure hope someone can help me. I had an U/S scan last week and my twins are now measuring almost 2 weeks small for dates. I've been having ultrasounds every two weeks and they have always been a little small (4 or 5 days) but this last one they are very small.

I saw my Dr. yesterday and he is going to arrange for me to see a perinatologist but I am now very nervous about what's going on. The U/S tech said they are one week small for size and 2 weeks small for weight. Dr. has told me that if the whole body is small than it is just small babies but if the head is measuring normal and other measurements are small than it is placenta and my babies are not getting what they need to thrive.

I could sure use some more information on this and any help would be greatly appreciated!!

yesterday i drank 2 cups of decaf coffee, something that i dont usually do, but for some reason was craving coffee. anyway, the baby didnt move nearly as much after i drank the coffee. do you think that the coffee somehow harmed the baby? or was it just coincidence???

Hi all,

I'm 7 1/2 weeks pregnant and for the past few days I've had a mild cold. No fever or anything, but I have had quite a bit of conjestion and head stuffiness. I seem to be getting better (slowly) but this morning when I was throwing up (from morning sickness, I've been throwing up about once a morning every other day) I noticed that, besides the food that I ate, I was also throwing up some plegm that must have made it to my stomach. Do you think this is something I need to worry about or call my doctor about immediately? I don't think I have an infection or anything, and I haven't had any spotting or cramping, I just worry that some bad stuff might get to the baby. I have my first appointment with my OB one week from today, so I could ask her about it then, but I just wanted some opinions beforehand. Thanks a lot!

I think I just want it to be Daddy, Grandma, Auntie and Mommy (me). Did your M-I-L or F-I-L come? I'm really just curious to see what the average is here. Plus any helpful hints you've learned along the way. I'm kind of nervous about this because of all the peolpe who wanted to come to my first sonogram...the room was packed!

Also include the type of labor you had...long/short, water birth, vaginal/c-section, whatever. =-)

So, my 1hr glucose test results came back a little elevated. I scored 138, and they said they would like it to be under 130. So, I have to go in to do the 3hr tolerance test. They said that this is sometimes common and may most likely pass the glucose tolerance test but want to make sure. My concern is that I already walk 3 miles home from work each day as extra exercise during my pregnancy to keep my body in tone, and I eat pretty good. If I don't have gestational diabetes, what are things they would change in a diet of someone who has gestational diabetes? I know I am not going to be able to maintain my same activity level throughout pregnancy as it will become more uncomfortable. I guess I am scared of getting GD after I have passed the 3hr test because my exercise will most likely decrease the further along I get. Do they want you to take in less sugar, fat, carbs? I will ask at my appt. on 9/14, but wanted to get you girls' experience and opinion. Thanks!

I'm SOOO tired, but i can't sleep!
i'll wake up every few minutes because i'm so uncomfortable. my back aches, my hips ache, my shoulders ache, my neck aches, i even get headaches when i'm trying to sleep.
my arms fall asleep, my breasts & stomach seem to be getting in the way, i can't get comfortable & relax.
i've tried using pillows between my knees, but they don't help. i still have to change position every half hour or so.
i don't know what to do! i'm so tired!!
anyone have any suggestions, or even some hope that this will let up soon?
i'm only 15w 3d, is it just going to get worse???

how on earth does he know the baby is fine and growing/developing properly between the Ultrasound and delivery? If something was wrong with the baby at time of delivery, should we blame the doctor? I am using the same doctor as with my daughter but never had this uneasiness. Thanks!!!

The lastest my period comes is the 31st day of the cycle. Today is the 31st day and no signs of my period, no cramping but my stomach is a little messed up, a little pain, and ummm, not to be rud but i have to go to the bathroom alot! idk, if its a sigb that i may be pregnant, or if its jus late? helo me out here please?

Ive never lived close to my family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousin..) except my parents and one of my brothers. And Im only close with my immediate family and one of my aunts. Now that Im pregnant it seems like all the sudden my distant family is so interested in me and the baby (I know their only wondering about my baby) I kind of had a feeling that would happen and I really have no interest in talking to them about me or my child. I guess I was kind of offended a little bit that they had nothing to do with me until I got pregnant...Oh and the people who are interested in what im naming the baby, where im registered etc. they are the ones who have never sent a bday card, xmas present or anything. Anyone else had this happen?! Id love to hear other stories (or maybe im crazy!!)

I am 35 weeks pregnant. At 33 weeks my midwife measured me at 31cm. Now at 35 I am measuring 30cm. My baby is active and I feel well. I am going for a scan in the morning to check everything is ok. Has anyone else experienced this in pregnancy does it mean I am just having a small baby?

however I had been drinking on almost a nightly routine.. and I mean more than just a few drinks... Now Im very worried about FAS and what I have done. I did stop when I found out but still very very nervous. Anyone have this happen to them in the past, how did things turn out?

Im 21 weeks with a little baby girl. I recently had my blood tests back and they said my Iron levels are borderline. Ive been feeling ok, I just wondered if this will seriously effect the baba?

I read a question earlier about dental x- rays and people were saying it is fine after 20 weeks. Im really really worried now because I had x- rays for a root canal at about 3 weeks pregnant, but I didnt even know at the time. I cant stop stressing about it and Ive worried myself sick! At the scans she has got everything in the right place but Im worried it has effected her brain or something?

I had a spotting for 2 days last August which came earlier than I expected.Now my breasts are swollen and hurts a lot. I've taken a pregnancy test twice one last August 27 and today September 5 all negatives. Is it possible that it was too early to take the tests? Help me I'm bothered by this!

Im 17 weeks and my doctor didnt tell me when i could get the ultrasound to see if my baby has down's syndrome or not. now its to late but in a pregnancy book iv read that you can get the amniocentesis test.It is usually preformed at 14-16 weeks but can be done up to 26weeks. As i am young and going to be a single mum i dont think i could handle a child with problems at this stage in my life. If anyone has had this done or heard anything bad about it please shed some light for me.
The book also says that the baby isnt in a high risk of danger as the needle goes into the uterine walls and into the amniotic fluid but doesnt touch the baby. also it states that the risk of misscarage is 1 in 300 or 0.3%

I had nausea and vomiting about 1-2 times per evening for the first 4 months of my pregnancy. Then i was ok. Now it seems that at 32-33 weeks my vomiting has returned combined with heartburn (thats why i am up at this time!!).

Is this normal? I am quite badly constipated - going about every 2-3 days - could that be causing this vomiting?

(This is my 2nd pregnancy - in my first i had nausea for almost the whole 9 months throughout but almost no vomiting at all. )
