Is the baby moving normally now? If so, Ithink you were just hyper aware of everything because you drank the coffee and were worried. I drank 1 cup of regular coffee and a cup of decaf through out my pregnancy and my son was and is fine. If you have any concerns at all though, you should ask your doctor, they are used to pregnant women asking about things, and would MUCH rather tell you that everything is fine than find out later that there is a problem because a mom to be didn't speak up!

Coincidence. Don't drink cups of coffee back to back. If you are craving coffee, switch to a 1-2 ratio, meaning, once cup of coffee, two cups of water. The extra water will help flush unwanted caffeine and sugar and give you extra fluids as coffee is a diuretic.

I was and am a coca-cola drinker. I CRAVED it and still do. I tried to switch to caffeine-free, but I actually noticed a difference. If this is true for you, then do the 1-2. If not, switch to decaf., but remember, it is still a diuretic and you will still need extra fluid.

Its just coincidence I beleive. I don't know why decaf coffee would have any effect on your baby. My doctor has even allowed me to have REGULAR coffee for headaches ( in moderation) and no negative effect has occurred. At this point in pregnancy your baby's movements are still adjusting and nothing is set in stone. Not until like 32 weeks, or so ( it migt even be later) THATS when your doctor will ask you to monitor your fetal movements. But right now I'm sure you're fine :)

The coffee didn't hurt the baby. Many women drink coffee while pregnant. Just a coincidence.

I was having the same exact problem with my baby not moving. I am 5mth's and I was worried because my baby was active then I felt no movements for a few days. She started to move and now it is more consistent. You have to realize that the baby is still tiny and as you become bigger the kicks will be more intensed. As for the coffee, that has nothing to do with it. You are fine, believe me.
