People can be crazy. They don't understand that some people don't have, want, or can't afford a house phone. I also live by cell phone (tracfone) and I understand the fear. First of all calm down. Put your feet up, lay on your left side, and count kicks. Labor can take a very long time so you are probably ok for now. The main thing to remember right now is to relax. I hope if your mom realizes she has your phone that she will find a way to check on you. Is there any friends or family members you can email that can call her and get ahold of her. I take it you have internet which must not be dial up.

First of all don't panic. It sounds like you definatley need to try and get to a phone. I believe that you can make phone calls through the pc using the newest version of IM. But you may need a microphone and I have never done it, nor do I know if it would dial 911. If you can't get to a phone and you don't have a neighbor close by, then you need to get on your side and drink lots of water, if you are not in labor this will make the contractions either subside or slow down and be speratic so it won't change your cervix. That may buy you some time until your parents get home. If your contractions get to the point where you feel like you can't breath through them, do not leave your house! Get some clean towels and and cover the area you are laying on with a clean sheet. When you feel a ring of fire and can't help pushing try and counter act the babies head by taking your hand and lightly pushing on the tissue between your vaginal opening and your anus until the baby is crowned, that way you are less likely to tear. When the baby is born it is VERY important to get the mucus out of its throat, you can use any kind of bulb syringe for this (even a turkey baster). Do it gentley, just suck at the back of each cheek until the baby starts to breath and cry. If you need to stimulate a cry rub the babies chest vigorously. Make sure you wrap the baby in towels and keep it VERY warm. Try to breast feed the baby first thing, so the babies sugar stays normal. Do not try and cut the umbilical cord, it can stay attached to the baby until it is birthed out. If you pass the placenta befor anyone comes home, then take a match to a pair of scissors to sterilize them, take some shoe lace or string and tie off the babies umbilical cord as tight as possible about an inch or two away from babies belly, cut through the cord above the tie off. Keep the baby warm and fed until help arrives. People do this all the time. You will be fine, do not be scared. The pain that you will feel may make you think there is something wrong but keep in mind that your body knows what it is doing and it was made to do this on its own. It isnt an ideal situation but it can happen and as lon as you stay as calm as possible you can deliver this baby on your own if you have too.

With most 1st labors it takes a while to ghet where you need to be to have a baby. First why sould your parents leave you home with no way to call them at 39 weeks pregnant? At your age lots don't make it to their due dates! How are you on the internet? It had to have a phone line? Also, maybe you need to look for your phone alittle harder. You need to find it. I bet you though that you will still be just in alittle bit of labor by the time your parents get home! good luck and hang in there!

Before you give me another thumbs down go look at there "private profile" and read there question again ..no 15 yr old would right like that...sheesh people use your heads not your hearts...
If you even speak the truth (which i doubt you do at this point)
No there is no way to call 911 via the internet
You have probably plenty of time if your pains are 20-25 minutes apart - try laying down on your left side for 2 hours to stop the pains...or take a warm bath (no reason you cant have a warm bath at anytime in your pregnancy as long as your waters have not broken - do you people really not have any common sense at all?)
If that doesn't help pack your stuff for the hospital - and try using YOUR HOUSE phone or a neighbors phone to call your doctor when your pains get to be about 10 minutes a part for more than an hour to let them know what is going on and then call your parents at work to get one of them to come home

You need to lie down, put your feet up and calm down, for now. You are not in trouble now, if the pains get to 10 mimutes a part and you feel pressure to push or are having a discharge, you need to go into action mode. Look up your local police, fire department and EMT service, they should have a email address, email them with Help at the top of the page. If that does not work, post there number here with an address or your mom.s number at work, and someone will call them for you. I am praying for you now,

Can you email your parents or a friend at work? Maybe you'll be able to find someone who can call your folks. Or maybe the doctor has an email questions service? Or maybe you can send text messages via email? For instance, (first initial last name) @ sprintpcs.com .
The important thing is don't panic. Get a glass of water, lie down, and try to nap if you can. If this is the real thing, you'll need all the rest you can get.
Good luck!

Signs that you are approaching labor
Signs that you are approaching labor may begin several hours or days before labor actually begins. You may notice these signs three weeks before to two weeks after your due date.
The baby "drops" or moves deeper into the pelvis
Loss of mucus plug ("bloody show")
Increase in vaginal secretions
Low backache, discomfort in legs
Irregular contractions or Braxton-Hicks contractions
"Nesting" instinct
Weight loss of one to three pounds
Diarrhea, low abdominal cramping
Spurt of energy
When should you go to the hospital?
As a general rule, you should come to the hospital when your contractions are five minutes apart and lasting 60 seconds for more than an hour. Ask your doctor or midwife what their specific recommendations are for you.
If your bag of waters breaks, call your doctor, midwife or labor and delivery right away.

as long as your bag of water havent been ruptured theirs no need to hurry but if had ruptured reaaly need to go to the hospital, in your case it is harder for a younger women to have labour especially if it is their 1st time, as i see the intervals of contraction, its still in the fist level of labor and i think it would last 5-6 hours observe one sign that your going to have your true labor is that when the contractions interval is very near to each other and it would be painful.. i think you should go to the hospital...

I feel for you. Do you have a neighbor you can go to? You can lay on your left side, but DO NOT get into a bath. My OB has told me over and over again not to bathe late in the pregnancy, especially in hot water. It would be best to go to a neighbor's house and see if you can use their phone. I hope everything works out for you. Take care.
