the doctor knew that i was pregnant and he took an x ray of my arm and told me that he was just going to cover me up... so they put this big blue thick thing on me... could the xray still hurt the baby... i am pretty scared dont want something to happen to the baby... will he come out normal... help

Today I started feeling dizzy and it would last a couple of hours, stop, and then start again. I am trying to conceive, so i wondering if this is an early pregnancy symptom. It is very unusal for me to feel dizzy like this. Even when i lie down, the dizziness gets worse. I am only about 3 days past ovulation. Has this ever happen to anyone?

Ok... My husband and I have been trying to concieve for about 9 months now. I ovulated on the 22nd. We had Sex leading up to ovulation and the day of. Because We have been trying to get pregnant for a while and I seem to be having some female problems my doctor is having me have a tranvaginal ultrasound( they take a camera like thing and stick it in your pelvis o check all your female organs,Im pretty sure they do this sometime during your pregnancy also) to check out my ovaries, uterus ECT..... Could they tell if I am pregnant by now?? My cervix would be closed by now if I am pregnant. Will they be able to tell that on my ultrasound?

Ok all i know is that he and her boyfriend were fooling around and she got pre-*** on her hand...like 15 minutes later she washed her hands quickly with hot water and dried her hands with a towel quickly...and she went to the bathroom...she is scared if the pre-*** was still alive and it went to the opening when she was wiping....i know its a stupid question but she wont believe me? but the pregnancy test came out neg... I was a week late at the time. The only other thing I'm having is HORRIBLE headaches... should I take another pg test? I'm just scared that it might be neg again... my hubby and me have been trying for almost 2 years now. Thanks!

I went today for a 4d Ultra sound and let me tell you it was VERY unsuccessful!! He claim that my baby was looking down with his hand in the way of the face. He made me drink cold water and even flip sides on the bed over and over and over....
I was sooo happy when I walked in the office and seen all the faces of babies and I cant even get ONE good picture of a BABY!

Any mothers out there had successful 4/d ultra sounds? and if so did you drink water before you went?

Well the good thing about this is that he is going to give me another ultra sound in the morning and I need to do something before this happen again!

My stomach has been killing me ever since May 7th and this is May 29th, and as the month goes on it is just getting worse. Thing is I haven't taken a pregnancy test, but I have the symptoms (tiredness, sore breasts, headaches, weakness a lot). I don't understand why my stomach is hurting so bad. This will be my second child if I am pregnant, and I don't remember this last time around and I just had the first baby in November '06.

I've been like this for about a week. Just thought that it was pms but when I took the test it came back really quick with a thin dark purple plus sign. I'm not upset about being pregnant but just cant control wanting to cry all the time. Is this normal? Do people just cry for no reason when they are pregnant? This is my first child and I'll be 22 in less than a month. Any comments will help. I'm kinda scared about the whole thing.

Hello. I am 40 weeks and two days pregnant. I feel like I am ready to go, extra crampy, 1.5 cm dialted and thinned, the baby is super low and I think I just had a bloody show but I am not 100% as I did have an exam today. I am being induced on Tuesday of next week if I do not have her in the next few days. I am scared of L&D now that it is so close. I am more scared of being induced, but either way, I am scared. This is my first!! Thanks!!

i am due THIS saturday [june 2nd]. about every 15 minutes or so, i get this extreme knife like pain on my right side of the vaginal area and i at times yell out an"ouch". he [the baby] is moving around like crazy. this has happened to me about 3 weeks ago. but now, the pains are getting extremely difficult to deal with. does this mean labor will come soon...?

I went to the hospital Saturday night because I was cramping and bleeding. They did blood work, and an ultrasound and said that the baby had no heart beat and my levels dropped from 23,000 to 6,000. They sent me home. I go see my doctor this Thurs, and see what my options are. I am 13 weeks, but the baby measured 8 weeks. Is it possible for my doctor to give me pills, that will help me fully miscarry the baby. If not how long will the dnc take?? How much pain will will I be in, and for how long?? After the dnc will I be able to go home that same day?? Thanks!!! I will give 10 points to the best answer!!

Sometimes I cramp like period cramps it is not even bad at all and they only last about 1min. no longer. But I was wondering if this is normal? On kid #1. I'm a little nervous. But excited- 1.4 months to go!!!! I've had my family discuss C-section and natural birth. They all have the idea that C-section is the only way to go.

Which one is better for the baby? Can I have some information? Thanks! :)
