I'm not carrying twins (just one!) but I have a client that was and she had the same cramping. Actually I get them as well. It is most likely your ligaments stretching by your pelvis. The babies will take a lot of room and your body is stretching and loosening to prepare. Is it lower on your abdomin? Both or one side?? Keep an eye on it if it's more in your central abdomin or you get any bleeding.
If it's the ligaments you can feel the crampy, period like feeling off and on or if you sneeze or cough or stand suddenly it can feel like a sharper pain on the lower abdomin.
Keep a watchful eye, otherwise sorry about the growth pains! Good luck with twins!
