Pregnancy - April 2007

Hi everyone,

I am shaking asking this and I know it might sound silly, but I am terrified. I'm preganant with my second child and have a three year old son. For the past couple of weeks I have been getting this horrible feeling that I am going to die. I don't know who to talk to. I don't want to talk to my mum or boyfriend because they'll get really upset.

I have heard people say that you do get a feeling like you are going to die before you do. I'm scared for myslef and my children. Has anyone ever had this feeling, is it just anxiety or could I actually be dying?

I'm sorry for being so morbid, but I didn't know where else to turn!

Did you have any major changes in your body a few days before you went into labor? Are there tell tale signs to look for when you are a few days before labor? Besides the obvious breaking of water and contractions close together...

The pharmacist told me to take the EC all at the same time(there are 2 pills in the box), but the instruction of the box said to take one, and wait 12 hours to take another one. Is it going to work the same? I dont get why she told me that.

Also, so far i dont get any side effects yet, is that normal?

I was under the impression our sex drives were equal when we met. We enjoyed the same pleasures and had a ton of fun doing them until we became serious. Now he won't even talk about sex. I used to get the sexy text messages while away from him, but if i send one now he responds with i love you. If i try to touch him sexually while i'm walking by he moves or if i bring it up he totally ignores me or acts like he didn't hear what i said. we shower together and are playful with each other at all times and he is very loving and affectionate but sexually he wants nothing to do with me. I've tried to talk about it or ask if i turn him on at all and he says of course you turn me on and then that's the end of our conversation. He won't communicate about our sex life at all with me and he is always the one saying i need to communicate more with him when i'm upset. What has happened to our sexual spark that got us where we are now? Is his behavior normal, is it because i'm pregnant?

can some one please help me with my question,,my sons girlfriend is pregnant,,when she was 5mths she went for a scan but instead they done an exray of the baby,,ive heard that exrays can cause eye and brain damage in unborn babies,,if theres a professional out there please answer this question and maybe put my mind at rest

I got pregnant in September and at first me and boyfriend agreed on a abortion but I didnt have the full money I asked him to give me the money and he never had it. when I finally got my half of the money I was already 6 months and he is mad because I waited so late now he said I messed up his life I told him just forget about us and I will take care of my responsabilities wheter he choose to be there or not . He said he already got his kids and he cant take care of nomore and I am stupid to want to bring a baby in the world without a daddy. What do you guys think about the situation and what would you do. I couldnt kill no baby at 6 mths because it's just not right but he is only thinking about himself and worried what his other kids mother going to think.

Ok, I broke up with my bf [He's 19] not knowing I was pregnant. We were having many problems so I left him. I would text him sometimes asking why he renounced me so quickly & all he could say was he would do everything for me & then I go on saying he doesn't treate me right. And to leave him alone.

If he calls treating me right by Standing me up,Commenting on other girls,Visiting me only when he was bored,Comparing me to his ex, and Rarely going out anywhere. Then YES he did treate me right. He wasn't like this at the begining. He gradually changed through time.

I had NEVER had sex with any other than him. I took the Error Proof Test which is 99.9% accurate. Im still going to visit a clinic to be absolutely sure.

Im just wondering how should I tell him? Now that I left him, he wants nothing to do with me. I don't want him back [Im over him] I just want him to know that Im expecting. And should I tell my parents or just leave? Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thanks!

In march i didn't have one at all so i took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I told the nurse I missed 2 periods and she booked my 12 week apt in May. Should i have told her i only missed one since i did go for a day?

They say that in MOST women shortly before birth the babies movement will decrease. Since he is more active now than he has ever been these last couple days what does that mean? Does it mean he has awhile to go? LOL Just curious as to how much movement I should be having at 37 weeks generally speaking. Thanks.

Also how much swelling at 37 weeks? Im having lots of left foot/calf swelling.

My cousin is fixing to back to Iraq for 18 months neither of them was planing to ge pregnant now. They just got married are young like me early 20s and She's really in shock still over being pregnant and she's really sad down in the dumps because now he is leaving and is gonna miss it all. I am a single mom with two kids, who is seriously pursing my degree in Nursing. I have a siyuation that threathen to change that all. I recently discovered that I am pregant and the father and I recently broke up within the last three weeks. Neither him or I are equipted at this time to take on a major responsible such as a new child. He lacks education and fianacial support to take care of a child. He lives with his mom at this time. This will be his 1st child and this would be my 3rd. I do not want anymore kids. I want to quietly terminate the pregancy. He is extremly upset and against this idea. I feel after years of struggling with my first two, I simply want no more kids. Am I making the right decision, to follow my heart and do what is best for me and that is to terminate the pregancy. I despretely want to acheive something, such as earning my degree. Having a baby at this time will greatly hinder me at this time. Help!

Like I said yesterday, I took 4 HPT and 3 were positive, blood work said no, but I just know I am. I just think I am super early (maybe 2 weeks) Could the blood work be wrong ? Will a sonogram show anything this early ? -- What do you guys think ?

This is probebly a dumb question, but I am 34 weeks pregnant and my baby is so big, when I bend over to get something off the ground I am worried I am "squishing" him. Is this even possible?? Sorry I worry about silly stuff..lol :)

I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my second child. My first is a boy, and this one is also going to be a boy. {yay} I was wondering how everyone felt about having a shower for this baby. My first is a winter baby and this one will be a summer baby, so none of my 2 year old's old clothes will be suffecient.

Hello, I am five weeks pregnant and I do not have medical insurance. As of March 23 I graduated from college. I was able to be on my father's plan while I was in school but immediately after I was dropped.

I have been looking for alternatives to claiming COBRA which would cost me around $800 a month. I live in California and I am aware of Medi-Cal but a friend of mine has told me that if you notify Medi-Cal who the father is, they will turn around and charge him. Is this true?

I tried to apply for my own personal insurance plan and was denied. So I am a bit frustrated and don't know what my next step should be.

My cousin is 17 years old and she really want a baby. But her boyfriend don't want any children right now. She said they had protected sex and he used a condom. She said he throw the condom in the tolet and he fogot to flush the tolet. She said she took the condom out the tolet and rub it all up inside of her and she wanted to no if its possible she can get pregnant like that. She said plz dont judge her.
