A still birth occurs when a fetus which has died in the womb or during labour or delivery exits its mother's body. The term is often used in distinction to live birth or miscarriage.

That is when you deliver the baby, but it has died in the womb. It is different from a miscarriage because in a miscarriage the baby would not have been able to live outside the womb, but in a still birth the baby should have been able to live outside the womb.

Still birth is when you go through the labor pains and all, give birth and the baby has already passed away... very sad, i pray that nobody has to go through this, i don't know what i would do if it happened to me... :(

Still birth is the polite way to say that you fully deliver your baby but there is no life in the baby and no way to bring life into the baby.
