Di anyone else freak out about being pregnant.. like, just out of the blue saying to yourself "wow.. there goes my life.. its all over for me". I dont know if I sound mean.. Im not, its just hitting me very hard right now

How can I make my husband more interested and active in my pregnancy? He is trilled with the whole thing, but I want him to really be doing some research on what I am going through, how the baby is developing, and what to expect when the baby gets here. I don't want him to be clueless and I wan to be able to have real conversations with him about this stuff! I got him a father-to-be-book and he thought it was cute but hasnt picked it up, I don't want to assign homework, I just want him to want to know these things. (ha, story of couples lives, really!) Any advice?

i had sex on 2 of my ovulation days (march 19th & 21st) i know i couldn't b pregnant already could i?.....my breast are a lil tender but my period is due to come April 4th

I am on 17dpo, I havent tested since yesterday which was -, still havent gotten my period either. I am pretty sure I o'd just by how my temps have been, but no not totally. Ok so if I go in to get blood work and it still comes back that I am NOT pregnant, will that mean I didnt O, since I dont have a period by now? And B...has anyone not gotten a + on HPT, but did get one on Bloodtest?

Hi all,

I am in my 12th week of pregnancy. I had my last scan in 10th week and that time baby was ok. From the begining I did not have any symptoms also.
I have my next appointment in the 14th week.
But now I do not feel anything and I am scared that may be it is missed miscarriage.
Can it be possible?? I do not have any cramps or bleeding.

I have one more questions. Is it safe to do light walking?

A Pinkish discarge i dont know if its just the light that makes it look pink i know i dont have a diease me and my boyfriend are very clean people but i know a little discarge is normal but why pink it scares me just need some advice i'll call my doctor tommorrow its sunday and he's not in he's office this is also my first but just for tonight anything will be helpful just need to know if this is something that might need metical attention right away it not bad only when i use thr rest room its a light pink but agasin please any advice will be helpful

I was supposed to get my period March 21st, but I didn't yet. It's only been 4 days almost 5 now but my period barely ever comes late. And if it does come late it's usually a day or 2 days at the most. The last time I had sexual intercourse was just Thursday March 22nd. I don't want to worry or stress so much about pregnancy, but at some points I do think about it, at times I just tell myself "No, you're being silly." But 4-5 days can't be all that late..can it? Even if it never really comes late for me? Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and fear the warnings of my stomach bloating out a bit more than a usual bloating period but can it just be my period coming late? I don't want to stress too much about this and make my body have actual physical symptoms of just thinking that I am pregnant when I really am not. I really don't know what to think at this point but I don't want to risk doing a home pregnancy test too early and have it negative when it might really be positive?Help?

Today I took a home pregnancy test and it came up positive. I am guessing that I am a month pregnant since I had my period last month and my cycle normally starts on the 26 to 28 day on each month. So how positive are those home test and would a be a month pregnant since I had my cycle last month?

I'm only 17 but I was just wondering about something.

I'm 5 foot .. and halfish, and weight 92 pounds. I've always wanted alot of kids (of course when I'm older! LOL) but can I have them? Can my body handle having a child? Or will I wind up having a C-section?

It might sound dumb, but I was just wondering.

Today I was carrying a heavy box of canned food (it was REALLY heavy, I could barely carry it) and afterwards I had stomach cramps. This was about an hour and a half ago and I still am having some mild pain in my lower abdomen.

Do you think I just pulled a muscle or something? What are the chances that I did or didn't do some harm? Btw....I usually carry around my 3yo. who is about 28lbs and nothing much else. I don't know the exact weight of the box, but I know it was heavier than her!

Oh, and I would guess that I am about 6-8 weeks along.

Ok. I am 36 weeks pregnant today and i still haven't packed for the hospital. I want to know, what will me, the baby and my fiance need to bring to the hospital? I want to pack a bag soon as i will being into labor within the next 4 weeks.

I am curious to know if the baby is allowed to wear outfits from home during the hospital stay or if he is required to wear what the hospital gives you. Do I just need the one outfit for coming home or additional ones also. Sorry this is kind of a dumb question but I really have no clue.

I'll be 18 in about a week and I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I don't yet have a job, but I plan on getting one full time and one part time once I turn 18. I'm finished with school, and plan on moving into an apartment by this July. Do you think abortion is right? I haven't yet gone to college.. and I don't agree with abortions. I couldn't give it away to be adopted either. The thing is.. if other women want to get one, I say, well, I don't condone killing, BUT if it's right for them, then that's fine.. I just can't see myself doing it. I'm confused, as I'm sure you can see.. can you please tell me your personal opinion on abortion?

I took pregnancy test about a month ago. One line was dark and the other was light. I didnt think anything of it. I soon became bloated, my breasts are bigger and sore when I push on them, Im peeing like almost every 2 hrs, I get dizzy if I dont eat anything, Im very emotional (the slightest thing could have me in tears), I dont feel like doing anything, I seem to have a sensitive nose now, and my stomach gets upset sometimes. I took two answer pregnancy tests but they both came back negative. Im still peeing alot and and everything is still happening. Do you think Im pregnant?

When I was pregnant with twin girls they were premature and I lost them. I named them and their names were Amanda Ashley and Sara Marie- My suppose to be very good friend was pregnant to almost due the same time I was. Well everything was very hard on me and my husband at the time losing our babies our world had been turned up-side down. Well my suppose to be friend at the time had her baby healthy girl and we went to see them and Congratulate them and bring thebaby a gift. Well I picked the baby up and was rocking her and I started to cry, I couldn't help it but tried to hide my tears-it was effident though to everyone. In the mean time her name had not been mentioned and I asked well what did you name her and she says proudly Amanda Ashley, I broke down and ran out to the car, she never came out to me or never gave me any reason why she would do this. Do you think this is tacky or is it just me being too emotional? We haven't been close since. We speak and that is it.

I'm 37wks pregnant exactly today. My fiance is getting very excited and nervous and happy and a whole range of emotions - he can't wait to meet our baby (we don't know if its a boy or girl) but he is also nervous at being responsible for the little one... our first child.. its a bit daunting!

Anyhow - as much as i love this child, as much as i want to meet this child, i just don't feel the same way he does- i just feel like its a bit surreal. I feel like, even though the end is "in sight" i'm never going to get there. Everyone keeps saying "Oh the baby will be here any week now" and all i think is "Yeah right - i've been pregnant forever - there isn't really an end to it".

I don't know why i have had a sudden change of attitude - a few weeks ago i was so excited and happy and nervous and all of those things.. but as i get closer i feel.... almost removed from the situation - as if i don't actually believe the pregnancy will end and i'll have a little baby.

What is wrong with me?

everyone is trying to talk me into getting an abortion. im six weeks pregnant and I don't want to get an abortion.I'm 21 yrs. old and in college with a year left until I get my bachelor's degree. I'm a sales associate @ banana republic....which pays pretty good. My baby will be due in November. My boyfriend has a son already that he takes care of. I know for a fact he will take care of mine as well. But certain people in my life(not my parents because they dont know yet) are telling me not to have the baby because it will jeopardize my future. I've told them this is my child and I dont want to abort him or her. I feel as though I can finish everything I've started and have my baby. Im in the process of saving for my car. By May I should have it. After that I can pretty much focus on getting the things I need for my child. I know it will be hard but I know I can do it. also, I feel as though everyone's telling me this because I dont plan on marrying my childs father.

well..a month ago my girlfriend didnt get her period on time so she took a home pregnancy test and it came up positive...but a few days after she got her period...then a month later when her next period was suppose to have arrived it didnt and she took 2 more pregnancy test and they came up negative, and she still hasnt gotten her period.

last monday i went into hospital because i was having crippling stomach pains at only 33 weeks. anyway, after keeping me waiting for FOUR hours, a 'doctor' finally came in and gave me the worlds worst internal exam ever. when i told her it hurt she wouldn't stop and ever since i've been having really bad pelvic pains. started off just as aching, and i assumed it was a normal thing from the internal (never evn had a smear test b4!). i have midwife's tomorrow so i can ask her, i just wondered if anyone else had had this aching pain before? or if its a bad sign of something?
