Yes totally normal. Your breasts will become more painful as time goes on, and is more pronounced with a first pregnancy. Your body is preparing your breasts for the milk that it will begin producing. Wear a supportive bra or a jogging bra until the pain subsides, it won't last the whole pregnancy. When it comes to bathroom habits, both going regularly and not going at all is normal too. If you get constipated, just eat high fiber foods. You will have many symptoms most of them normal. I highly recommend that you get the book "What to Expect when you are Expecting" It gives you a month to month look at your pregnancy and goes into detail on every question and symptom you could possibly have, its a must have for every pregnant woman, and will help you feel more prepared for the road ahead.

I am 13 weeks, and had tingly breast for a few days, but mine were never sore but before I found out either. Since I found out I was pregnant I have switched several times I go from constipated to normal and have diarrhea about once a week, I don't know why, but everything is going fine, just stay hydrated.

Yes, the going a lot was a symptom for me for sure! I'm 11 weeks, and it lasted till about 7weeks. Now just gassy but it has stopped. Be sure to drink plenty of water! My breasts just started hurting, not tingly but I've heard other moms say that that is a common sensation. Best wishes!

IN THE FIRST MONTH:
9 things that will happen to you

1. Fatigue – you no longer have stamina for usual activities, such as walking up a hill or staying awake until midnight. This is because your body is demanding huge amounts of energy to make the changes for pregnancy.

2. Nausea and vomiting – morning sickness may be confused with the flu or feeling like you're "coming down with something." You may feel queasy, have nausea all day long, or vomit and have dry heaves. (See Morning Sickness)

3. Missed menstrual period. While nonpregnancy-related issues, such as stress, can cause you to miss a period, this is a first sign of pregnancy, too.

4. Slight staining or spotting. Bleeding at the time of implantation can be mistaken for menstruation. Some women have bleeding in the early months of pregnancy at the time when they would have menstruated.

5. Aversions to odors, alcohol, and smoke. Once you are pregnant, baby-protective mechanisms click in. You will notice how coffee, alcohol, and cigarette smoke make you ill.

6. Food cravings. Once you become pregnant, you may mysteriously crave foods that you seldom ate before. Your tastes may change from sweet to salty or vice versa.

7. Breast changes. The changes are similar to premenstrual feelings in your breasts only more dramatic: nipples tingle, breasts feel tender and fuller, the areola begins to darken, and tiny glands on the areola enlarge.

8. Crampy pelvic discomfort. This discomfort may be felt throughout the lower abdomen and pelvis. (A sharp one-sided pain is not normal and your doctor should be notified.)

9. Frequent urination. From the beginning, you will urinate more often due to pregnancy hormones. (Later on, you will have frequent urination because of pressure on the bladder from the enlarging uterus.)

Yes your breasts will be like that for a little while. And I do not know if it is normal or not but I was sure going a lot too. I have never had the problem of constipation throughout my pregnancy.

Hey! I'm 13 weeks pregnant, 1st time mommy too, and I had all those sam eworries when I was exactly 6 weeks!!! Yea, that tingly breast thing is perfectly normal, happened to me too and then my nipples got super sensitive (and still are!) Constipation is normal, but diarrhea is just as common, my doctor said for diarrhea I was allowed to take: "Kaopectate" and "Donnagel" which he said are available over-the counter at all pharmacies. (I never had to use them, so I don't really know what they are like.) But don't stress yourself out, because it's probably for nothing. (Believe me, I had spotting too and of course I thought I had miscarried, but I am just fine, and that was normal too!) Good luck to you!

Hi and CONGRATS
first of all your breast will go through so many changes and the tingly you describe means they are getting ready to produce milk, if you mean urinating a lot YES just wait till you get a bit further along, if you mean loose bowels very often i would see your GP just to be safe
Good Luck x

Religion is a touchy subject for me. I am catholic. My fiance is catholic, and our son will be baptised catholic next month. I believe in god, I believe in jesus dieing for our sins, heaven and hell. I do not however believe in all the politics that go along with the church. I do not feel that I need to sit in a boring mass every week in order for my prayers to be heard or for the lord to know I believe. I also think the catholic church bases way toooo much around the good ol Dollar...Everything is money. The church is supposed to be there to help, but yet they are always the ones with their hands out. There are some practices I disagree with...I feel it's my choice to use birth control or have sex before marriage, honestly if that's the worst thing I do in my life...I'm ok with it, and I hope god is too. I think as long as I believe, am happy, and am an overall good person, the lord will be happy. (or at least I can hope).
