Pregnancy - March 2007

They say that 1st time mother can start feeling their little one moving between the weeks 17 and 20 (and earlier for second time mother) - My partner is wondering when HE will be able to feel our baby moving with his hand on my tummy?
Would it be on the same time scale as me or the movement will be too subtle?
I would prefer comments from present or past experience instead of being referred to another pregnancy website.

I have 2 boys: Evan (8) and Rylan (4). ok so lately my 8 year old has been asking me nearly every day for me to give him a massage. I find this very strange and I've asked him why he wants massages and nothings hurting him... no sore back or anything. Should I be concerned?

It turns out that I am pregnant and that based on fundal height at this point fertilization and/or implantation occurred after I took Plan B (maybe as much as a week). I have not had sex since that instance, so I had to concieve from that instance. I'm wondering how long a fertilized egg can take to implant in the uterus. And how long the hormones in Plan B stay in your body. I'm not complaining, I'm actually excited about this pregnancy however wondering if this is very uncommon (this has been my one and only experience taking Plan B.)

i am going to the hospital tomorrow morning to get my labor induced, and im supposed to be really excited right? well im not, im barely excited at all.. in a way i feel like i cant wait to hold my baby in my arms... but mostly i feel so scared and really depressed and i dont know why... i feel like today is the last day of my life ( this is my first baby)... im not really young... im 21, which isnt old either... im still with the baby's father.. but sometimes i feel like i may not be for too much longer and i dont know why.... anyway i guess my question is... did anyone else ever feel like this?

I'm 25, and married. I've been taking the pill since I was 18, but just a few months ago, I went on and off the pill. In February, I stopped taking the pill and now I'm about 1 1/2 weeks late. I feel extemely nauseous (but I don't throw up), food makes me sick (but I will eat and it gets a little better), and my breasts hurt (like they've been squashed). I'm just wondering if its possible I could be pregnant even though I've been on the pill for so long.

This happened twice yesterday on a trip to Target and happens every time I go out. I have gained the proper amount of weight and only have 1 baby. I'm just "all baby". I am retaining water, have carpel tunnel, now have PUPPP, and really want to hurt these insensitive people. The ones that come up and ask me if I'm having triplets are also annoying too. Any suggestions. Humiliation for these people would be nice :)

i was on a regime of benzoyl peroxide and moisturizer before i got pregnant for about 2 years and my skin was clean.. i didnt have any acne .. and then, i got pregnant and still continued on my regime but i keep getting pimples no matter what i do.. im 14 weeks preggers now and its really frustrating to wake up every morning with disgusting new pimples.. :( does anyone have any tips on how to ge rid of them??

Is it true that Colorado is the only state in the US that allows third trimester abortions? Supposedly a girl at my workplace is going to Colorado for this. That is just absolutely wrong in my opinion but it's not my place to decide. I just didn't realize that this is legal in some states. And no it is not me or my daughter so no rude comments. I am too old to even think of getting pregnant.

Unfortunatly, @ 28 weeks i have started to get stretch marks :( Why do they itch?! I didn't know that stretch marks itched. They are itching me to death! Does anyone else have strech marks, and are they itchy?

I've engaged in outercourse with some fluid with clothes on 3 days before my [3-day, short] period. Then after that, the next day, there were light pink blood-I don't know if that's implantation-.I have been having cramps whis whole time, I feel like vomitting, my breasts have been tender the whole time too and I think my stomach is getting bigger and I feel dizzy sometimes and exhausted. My stomach looks bigger!!! I saw 2 doctors (1 of which I saw 3 times, telling me she doesn't think so and that's it's just guilt) , and a clinician twice who found me kind of irritating saying I couln't have! + I wanna know: IF I'M SHOWING ALL THESE SYMPTOMS, WILL THE TEST BE ACCURATE? The light blood did come after a week! That's what I'm worried about and I just remembered.I did take a blood test a week after.-negative- I think it's too early. So i don't know!mY BOOBS are kinda pinchy and sore. I feel hurt around the ovary ares. I've read that preejaculate can cause pregnancy and I'm scared.

2.was the ultrasound able to determine the sex of the fetus?
3.if yes to number 2 was the determined sex the correct one at birth? if no do you think that the ultrasound would have been correct?

can you get pregnant on the depo shot? i had it and and sex 24 hrs. after with no other BC. i got the shot 2/28 and i have been light bleeding since 3/15. when i eat i feel like i have to puke it all up. idk, can i be pregnant? should i go get tested? has this happend to you?

At the time I said no, but I was wondering if anyone knew why she was asking. Like what might she be looking for? Yesterday, I did have a little bit of discomfort ( I wouldn't even call it pain ) on my left side. At the time, I just wrote it off as more round ligament pain. But I'm starting to wonder. It is Sunday so I would rather not call the doctors emergency number if it is nothing. Any ideas.
