When you first feel it it will be like butterflies or gas bubbles...it might even be a week or so before YOU figure out that it's the baby for sure LOL. It will be so weak for a while that he won't be able to feel it even close to when you do. Sometime 6th to 7th month is when he should be able to share the good stuff.

It depends a bit on luck! I would find that from 20 weeks onwards I could sometimes feel kicks if I put my hand on my tummy, but it was maybe only once a day. So my hubby was never around when it happened! Babies have this great habit of totally stopping as soon as someone else put their hand there!
As the weeks go on more and more of the kicks will be able to be felt from outside, so there is more chance of your partner being able to catch one. He definitely won't be able to feel those first little kicks that you get at 17/18 weeks because they are really tiny movements and very deep inside you.
My hubby first felt kicks when I was about 23 weeks.

You can feel it before your partner does of course; but it wont take long, maybe another two weeks, before the movements are so strong that you wonder why you were never aware of them before!
About 20-22 weeks, your partner should have the same joy as you. There is nothing in the world like that feeling of new life moving inside you.

I started feeling my second baby at 16 weeks, I am now nearly 18 weeks and you can just sometimes feel them when i hold my hand on my tummy. But they are quite faint, you have to be quite patient waiting for them.
Around 20 weeks is probably the best time to start feeling them properly..

In my experience you'll feel it for about 4 weeks before he'll be able to.
I started to feel it at 20 weeks but it was almost 25 weeks before my hubby could feel it too.
i think as soon as i called out to him the baby stopped moving, he reckons just to annoy him!!
but, everyone is different so don't panic if you don't feel it at 20 weeks, some people take a bit longer.

I'm 24 weeks along and my husband was able to (finally, in his words) feel the baby moving around. Now that he can, his hand doesn't leave my belly!
