Ok I am due to have my teeth cleaned again, but I am now 11 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Is it still safe for me to go to the denist and have them cleaned?

Most doctors will tell you it is safe---most dentists will tell you to wait until you are out of your 1st trimester. My dentist wouldn't see me until I was more than 12 weeks pregnant. Call your dentist and tell him/her you are pregnant and see what their advice is. You are close to ending your 1st trimester so it may not be an issue.

Generally speaking normal teeth cleaning is safe during pregnancy and is safest during the second trimester. Poor dental hygene in and of itself is a risk for preterm birth, so women are encouraged to keep their dental appointments.
That being said obviously be sure to tell your dentist that you are pregnant and consider taking Vitamin C to boost your immune system.

yes it is when u get ur teeth x-ray they put a cover over u so the rays don't harm u all u have to do is tell them u r pregant n they will make sure they really take care of u

I think it's relatively safe, however you need to call the dentist and inform them first.

yes, but let the dentist know your pregnant, in case they want to do any x-rays. They can't take any precautions, if they don't know

they don't use drugs to clean your teeth so it should be safe
