I bought one of digital tests,supposed to say in words pregnant or not;Little book sign come up with narrow;dont have instructions and on holiday in foreign country;anybody know?

It usually means there is an error with the test, and the symbol is telling you to look at your instructions. BUT...I just so happen to have a pack of that kind of test handy! Let me check it out.
Okay, the book means that either you didn't leave the test laid flat so the urine could absorb correctly, or else too much or too little urine was applied. It says you should take a new test (I hope you bought a multipack!) and follow the directions.
It says you can either hold it in your urine stream for 5 seconds with the tip pointing downward, or pee in a cup and place the test vertically in the cup for 20 seconds. Then lay the test on a flat surface for 3 minutes...don't hold it up or carry it around. Then you should have your result.

Are you kidding me? Then men should also sign a " boyfriend/husband opposed to sex" affidavit. A WOMAN doesn't control when she gets pregnant. Its not "her" fault. If a woman AND A MAN have sex, and it happens, it happens. The only VICTIM is the CHILD. That's why BOTH parents contribute to the expenses of raising it. Rarely does a man sick around after creating a child. Are you stating being a single mother is a desired position for women? You must be high. it means your pregnant with a book!! congrats!! just kidding i agree with grayhare, it means there has been an error. your test hasnt worked properly this time,try peeing in a cup,its what i did,that way you get a more accurate reading.
i have used the digital pregnancy tests and think they are good.

I took mine yesterday, I got the book then few moments later the book icon stayed but "pregnant" popped up. I am going to the doctor in a few days to check. *fingers crossed*
