I was supposed to get my period March 21st, but I didn't yet. It's only been 4 days almost 5 now but my period barely ever comes late. And if it does come late it's usually a day or 2 days at the most. The last time I had sexual intercourse was just Thursday March 22nd. I don't want to worry or stress so much about pregnancy, but at some points I do think about it, at times I just tell myself "No, you're being silly." But 4-5 days can't be all that late..can it? Even if it never really comes late for me? Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and fear the warnings of my stomach bloating out a bit more than a usual bloating period but can it just be my period coming late? I don't want to stress too much about this and make my body have actual physical symptoms of just thinking that I am pregnant when I really am not. I really don't know what to think at this point but I don't want to risk doing a home pregnancy test too early and have it negative when it might really be positive?Help?

Yes, 4 - 5 days late is pretty late for a period.
Take a HPT. You're over a day late. It'll work. If you're concerned, take one of the ones that advertises it's for early detection.
You've got lots of options. Whatever you do, stop having unprotected sex now (heck, ANY sex, and tell whatever guy wants to have sex with you to go jump off a cliff!). Whether you keep the kid, adopt it out, or abort. Period. No exceptions. Have you got any idea what STDs ... worse, HIV ... can do to you AND your baby? Does a baby deserve to be born with defects or a life-terminating disease because his mother didn't protect herself? Get yourself tested for them, NOW. And in six months. Yes, I'm making a big assumption that you're having unprotected sex with a risky person, my apologies if I'm wrong on that.
At any rate ... if you are pregnant, it is also my opinion that you at some level wanted to be. You're intelligent enough to formulate questions, and to come here and post with them, therefor you are intelligent enough to know that sex is where babies come from, and every time you have sex without protection you're asking to be pregnant.
There. Harsh opinion, but that's life.

Honey you are 14 yrs old. What in the world are you having sex for? Unprotected at that! Take a pregnancy test, it is not too early. You may not be. The first few years of your period can be really wacky. You shouldn't take any chances w/ your life. Get on birth control plus your guy needs to use a condom, you need protection from STD's.

My period comes at differnt times each month and my husband and I are always wondering if I am pregnant. I mean I have already had one child. Here is what I do.
Wait at least another month. I know it is hard and you want to know right away. And if you period comes then no, but if not get a pregnancy test. Good luck to you.

I'm not trying to be rude here, but you have had unprotected sex at least 9 times this month and you have missed your period. Sorry, but sounds like your PG to me, take a test you need to know for sure. It will be accurate at this point. If it comes up negative then you need to talk to your Doc if you don't get it soon.

Are you wanting to get pregnant? You very well may be pregnant . It's not too early to test but if you wait a few more days and still no period, go to your doctor. They will do a test anyway, whether you took a HPT or not.

Umm, if you're stressing THIS much, then WHY are you having unprotected sex so often? It's obvious you don't want to be pregnant right now, so why not get on birth control, or at the very least, use a condom, so you won't have to worry so much?

Even if you had just had unprotected sex 1 time you could be pregnant. 9 times could definitely get you pregnant. Its not to early to take a test.

I know your anxious but, your going to have to wait it out at least a couple of weeks so you can be sure.Sometimes it depends on when you ovulate that determines when your period will start.And ever month isnt the same sometimes February will throw you off because its a short month.

Any sex can lead to pregnancy. Unprotected sex is taking a huge risk. It's very likely that you could be pregnant.
