this morining i was sitting at a table eating and after i was done it felt like something was jumping up and down in my stomach and i think i seen my shirt move i don't know. and i sometimes get a feeling to where i something is pushing down i am 6 months pregant is my baby moving around alot in there or something and i also have sharp pains on my side and my front is he/she hitting me or something?

I always loved being pregnant. Some of my best memories are from the three times that I was. I just wanted to hear some of the funny moments from mother-to-be's and from former mother-to-be's.

My funniest moment was when I told the father of my first. I showed him the stick that I pee'ed on and told him he was going to be a daddy, and he asked me, "Did you have one of your pregnant friends pee on that?" I thought I was going to die laughing. Let me hear yours. (Anytime through out your pregnancy)

I have a lot of the signs of being pregnant. Im 17 and I'm no longer with the person that would be the father. If I am, how do I go about telling him? I dont think he will like it at all.
Also we werent together the last time we had sex. We had been broken up for a month and then we decided to have sex on Valentines Day for the hell of it. At that point, I had been off my birth control for 1-2 weeks. Any advice or info you could give me would be awesome! Thanks.

There are so many choices for labor and delivery, it is a little overwhelming. I would like to hear your opinions as to which position is best for delivering-squating, sitting, laying on your back, etc and why. I am also wondering which position is best for less risk of a tear or need for an episiotomy. Just let me know your experiences and what worked best for you. Thanks!

this is not a q, i just wanted to tell the lady named Just the facts, that my friend did end up having the abortion at 21wks, i will never talk to her again. i tried so hard to get her to see what she was doing was wrong, cant save anyone i guess, in the en d its her body and she chose to do what she wanted, and now she'll have to suffer the consciences for life, thanks for your answer tho it was really helpful

since i found out i was pregnant, ive had a runny nose , and ive been coughing up plegm almost every single day. im aprehensive about taking any meds,,but i mean if i have to,,ill have to. are there any natural ways to supress the itchy throat and runny nose? anything anything that is pregnancy safe????????????????/

I had a long drive Sunday as me & my partner went for a day out in London, however I am 28 & a half weeks pregnant. For the past week I have been getting horrible period type cramps at the bottom of my belly & on Sunday whilst driving home I was getting sharp shooting pains in my right ovary (or in that area) and tightening cramps in my belly which were also going right round to my lower back as well. They lasted for around 2 and a half hours & were about 6 minutes apart (or there abouts). I have had them on & off every since but the period type cramp & back pain is something I am struggling with everyday? Are these just Braxton Hicks or maybe a sign things may set off a little early? I don't know if this makes a difference but I have also had diareahea for a few days & i know this can. Please help a first time mum which doesn't really know whats going on, I have an appointment with my midwife tomorrow @ 3pm but just thoughts I'd ask your oppinions before i see her. I'm 39 weeks pregnant and experiencing a good deal of pain in the area connecting my leg and butt. It's usually, and mostly severely, on the right side, but sometimes it is less painfully so on my left side as well. The pain has been rather intense for the past couple of weeks, but it seems as if it's been gradually building up for a month and a half. It feels almost muscular, as it seems that sitting for any period of time makes it more painful when I do start moving again. It's worst when I'm sleeping and I try to change positions, so bad that it takes me minutes to roll over and any movement I make involves me lifting my legs up with my own hands or gripping the poles on my bed for extra help, meanwhile I'm almost in tears from pain and frustration. I expected that my stomach would be causing all the trouble, not my legs!

My question is, is this normal? I know pregnancy causes strain on the body, but this just seems like too much.

I recently got a new bloke after 6yrs with the last 1. His brother and his wife are brilliant- she is everything i'd always wanted as a mate and like the sister i'd never had. Was so looking forward to holidays as a 4, parties, family events etc. She is 25 like me. I recently met my new bloke (Shane)'s parents. Theyre v posh and judgemental and i was so worried, but pleased he wanted me to meet them. Anyway at the dinner they arranged for the purpose to meet me, Shane's sis-in-law announced she's pregnant. With twins. I was so upset- it may sound selfish but that was MY night, not hers! Now all i EVER hear is about HER and her pregnancy- you'd think she was the 1st woman to ever be pregnant! I'm so upset- i'm resentful of her and the pregancy, i feel we have nothing in common now and that i'm not included in the family- she is their number1 priority now, I don't even figure. Shane's parents aren't interested in me (nor is he when he's with them) and i feel so hurt! What can i do?

im 26 years old with normally irragular period, my last period was dec 23 last year. and i havent had anything ever since. i did a blood test on the 29th of jan. and it came negetive. few days after that i got bigger breasts. then i started to grow in belly, to the point that i got now about 7 inches bigger. i havent changed my diet at all. eating same amount.few days ago i started having sore breasts. i have done few home preg test and all came back negetive. i was told by my doctor to do another blood test which i did yesterday and waiting on the result. but the reason i am asking you is that im so freaking out as when i just went to bathroom last night around 7 i had some pink spotting with clear sticky discharge. then today im having my period (well looks that way).
during this time (past month) i have had this stratching feeling along with some sort of pulling from my belly button from inside. and i taught well maybe if i am pregnant , that is the reason i am getting bigger.

I am due May 31st, so almost 7 months. I was just wondering how you are feeling if you around 7 months. I always thought I would feel different, but its kind of normal just with a big o' belly! I am excited somedays but then somedays I feel really nervous. I still have about 3 months which feels like forever but at the same time feels way too soon. My fiance doesn't seem to really want to talk about the baby or even act like we are having one, is that normal? Shouldn't he be more excited? I think he's scared and it really hasn't hit him yet. Anyway tell me how you are feeling?

My friend has two lil daughters. Her fetus in her stomach hasnt moved.. Hasnt kicked or nothing. Now her doctors say ohhh it's nothing. But im worried.. I'm 5-6 weeks pregnant. I have a treadmill in my basement and I work out on it for an hour every day. I have a cat and his litter box is in the basement. My husband scoops the litter every day because the cat is about 20 lbs. and the litter box gets really bad, really fast! Anyway, the basement always smells like "cat box" no matter how much the box has been cleaned. I know I'm not supposed to clean out the litter, but is it still bad for me to breathe the air with the smell while I'm working out in there?

Before the birth of my second child my periods were normal... well as normal as can be. I've had three periods since my second baby and they are just horrible. Any suggestions? Is this normal? My doctor does not want to put me back on the pill until I'm done breastfeeding. So I have to wait another couple of months.
