Are there any vitamins that you should not be taking during pregnancy? If so, what effect do they have on the baby?

too much vitamin A is bad, just stick to the prenatal vitamins and folic acid and the omega 3 vitamins and you're good to go...good luck!!

i believe too much vitamin E is bad. The best way to get that nutrient is by taking something with beta carotine instead of concentrated vitamin E.

Its best to consult your Gynea before one takes any vitamins other than those prescribed by the Gynea during pregnancy.

I used the regular preggo vitamins. I just went to Walmart and used their preggo brand. Actually I'm still using them cause my Dr. suggested to continue while breastfeeding.

Regular or maternal vitamins are great to take but I'd stay away from any other homeopathic herbal concoctions.
