I don't know any reason why you wouldn't be able to, except that sitting too close may bother your eyes and cause headaches, which could aggrivate the coming morning sickness. You'll also want to watch out for blood clots--do ankle rolls under the desk and get a box or angled foot rest to prop your feel on so your circulation doesn't suffer. Take frequent breaks to rest your eyes and walk/stretch. You should be fine!

I'm 19 weeks and spend most of my time working on the computer. Just make sure you take frequent breaks to stretch your legs and give your back a rest. Sit straight in the chair, don't slouch. It helps to keep a small ottoman near by to rest your legs on from time to time. Congrats on the baby and good luck.

Why not? Just make sure to get up and walk around to stretch your legs every so often to prevent legs cramps and blood clots. I've spent lots of time on computers all through all 4 of my pregnancies.

I was on the computer constantly during my pregnancy. If I get pregnant again anytime soon, I'll be on it even more, since I tele-commute from home.
