coul some1 that is on the pill get pregnant. and take it correctly. but whrn they have sex they do not use protection

I'm not positive yet that I am pregnant, but if I am I'd probably be about two months. I've had a lot of muscle spasms in one of my legs and also once in my lower abdomen. I've never had so many so frequently and I've NEVER had one in my lower abdomen like that.

How long do they keep you in the hospital after giving birth?
i.e...
* if you had an epidural
* If it all went fine
* if you had a c section
* if they had to use forcepts
* if everything went fine
* if you had to be cut and got stitches
* if you tore
ect

(I really hate hospitals and im not keen on a home birth because its my first child...,so i really need to know how long i will have to stay in that uncomfortable hospital environment!)

PERSONAL.. WarninG! haha..Okay ive asked b4 about how i get what i think are contractions when i pee, and past 3 days i have had a problem going # 2, that it hurts to go in my stomahce area. Well i just tried to go again and i finally was able to but i am getting a sharp pain in my bottom area and and my vagina area.. and now reallly reallly bad back pains once again. I have been experiencing the bad back pains for a week now that have been horrible. Last week my doctor checked for UTI, hemmroids and i dont have any of them!

Tuesday i was 1 cm dialated and she said my cervix was thinning out a lot. Braxton hicks/contractions were bad for 2 days straight but nothing really to much today. Only when i get up my tummy gets hard as a rock and is hard to move around but i manage!

Any help please :-( 1st time mommy as you can see! im 36 weeks

hi ive just done a test this morning and in the box to say you are pregnant there is a faint pink line dose that mean im pregnant ive been hungry and tired alot more aswell please help me

First pregnancy, I'm about 1 month pregnant and wanting to know is it healthy to work out while pregnant? Also would it be too soon to work out since I'm only over 4 weeks, will it be safer after 12 weeks? By the way, before finding out I was pregnant, I probably lost 10lbs, without doing a minute of excersice, is that normal?

Hi.I have missed my periods and tested positive by Home test kit.According to this I should be 4weeks and 5 days pregnant.But when I went to the doctor today for confirmation, he performed vaginal ultrasound and said that he could not detect anything in the uterus.He asked me to wait for one more week and again go for ultrasound.Please suggest if 4weeks5 days are too early for ultrasound or is this a sign of Ectopic pregnancy.Can this lead to miscarriage also?Im really worried.

I just found out that my husband and I are pregnant (via test you buy at stores). We are guessing that I am about 1 month pregnant, however, I did have a glass of wine 2 evenings ago and about an equevalent of a glass the past 2 weeks each week. We have set an appointment with the doctor, but wanting to know b4 hand. Will those drinks have an affect on the baby, for instance fetal alcohol syndrome?

when you have a scan if they were to say you were 6 weeks along would this be 6 weeks from your last period or 6 weeks from the size of the fetus ?

ok i'm about three days late on my period I told my parnter and he tried to basicly jump start it, my question is how long will it take to work? my partner said it could be a few hours or days. if I don't get my period at the end of this week should i take a prengnancy test?

I think I lost some of my mucus plug (not sure if it's some or all) but I'm only 21 weeks. I have read lots of discriptions of what the mucus plug looks like...thick snot. Mine wasn't pink or anything, just sort of an opaque white. But there was quite a bit and I'm just slightly worried. Can a mucus plug be lost and then grow back without labor coming soon? This my first pregnancy so I don't know what all to expect.

I assume everyone will tell me to take a pregnancy test. I've already done that! My friend took 6 pregnancy tests before it actually showed though! I do think that I have the symptons though. My mom thinks I am too. I'm irritated, bloated, nauseous,and my periods have been irregular. That's not normal for me. Any suggestions anyone????

We have been together for almost 4yrs and we just started having sex 5months ago. i love him very much adn we've talked about if it ever happend and he would be supportive and we would raise the child together its not that im not ready to be a parent because i love babies and i dedicate almost all my time to them. its just i dont know how to tell my parents. i've missed my period this past month and im still waiting for it to start idk what to do any suggestions?

Say that me and my gf had sex like a couple days before her period happened, It was unprotected sex. She got her period i would say like 3 days later. I was just wondering if she would have got her period if she had takin some of my sperm 3 days before.

We already have one little girl . She's 3 and we love her beyond words.Now we have another one on the way and I am thrilled that it's on the way but I havent acted like I am excited.But it's only because I am worried about things like "are we gonna be able to feed another kid?" " Are we going to be able to raise it for 18 years without messing up it's life?" We went through all of those emotions with our first baby.I would have thought this time we wouldn't be so scared.I feel bad that I haven't acted exctied about this.But really I am!

Hi. I am 19 wks & 5 days preg with my 1st child. This is not my 1st pregnancy tho.. I miscarried when I was 3 mnths preg a little over 2 yrs ago. I was jw if I am just driving myself crazy with worry or if I should be concerned because..I havent seemed to gain any weight at all yet.. my weight just keeps fluctuating.. should this be happening at 20 weeks? do you think that I am having problems gaining weight because I was a premee & have always had a low but healthy weight?
My nausea & breast tenderness isnt really an issue anymore.. now I just have heartburn & indigestion.. is it ok that the nausea and such has subsided?
At my last doctors appt (a month ago) they told me that the babys heartbeat was very strong & that everything seemed alright except for my iron.. I have only had one u/s & they told me the baby was healthy then 2..
I just cant help but worry that something is wrong.. but I would rather enjoy this than worry!

Do you thnk i have anything to worry about?
