i got pregnant at 17 and had a child at 18.. i have a friend who gave birth at 15 and had a second child by 17.. for us, having a baby at that age made us study better and helped us achieve our goals because of the baby. thank god we made it. now, we are both doctors.

You have a baby before you're married. Some people in society will look down on this, and some teens truly aren't ready and neglect their babies. Others are mature and take responsibility for their actions. It really depends on the teen's maturtiy. I'd rather see a single teen mom take great care of her baby than a woman in her 30's in an unhappy marriage neglect her child. Both can happen. Also, I think it's crappy that 13-year-olds and 19-year-olds are lumped in the same category..."tenn pregnancy". Sorry, but a 19 year old is WAY more ready to have a kid than any 13 year old, physically, emotionally, financially...a 19 year old has graduated high school, might be in college or might have a full-time job, is probably not living at home with mom and dad.
It honestly depends on the individual's maturity.

First it causes problems with parents. Now they have to provide for an extra mouth to feed plus diapers. Then the teenager has to finish school and homework with less time to concentrate on education. Finally, they raise a kid and the kid gets pregnant or impregnates another teenager out of wed-lock. This is a vicious cycle. There is a song with lyrics that goes "I've been around the world and found that only stupid people or breeding"

Are you getting married to a teenager? Are you yourself a teenager? Are you asking about getting a teenager pregnant? Are you aking about getting pregnant and then getting married to a teenager? Are you asking about the effects of pregnancy? Are you asking about the effects of a teen wedding?
And I am completely fed up with people thinking that marriage and pregnancy have anything to do with each other!
