Before the birth of my second child my periods were normal... well as normal as can be. I've had three periods since my second baby and they are just horrible. Any suggestions? Is this normal? My doctor does not want to put me back on the pill until I'm done breastfeeding. So I have to wait another couple of months.

Everytime you have a baby, you restart your hormones from new. So after each baby is probably going to be different. It will even out some when your hormones balance out. There is a low dosage pill you can take while breast feeding, but I forget the name (ortho-novum I think). Mostly, I suggest avoiding a lot of salt, caffeine. Eat/drink soy. It's a natural estrogen.
