I always loved being pregnant. Some of my best memories are from the three times that I was. I just wanted to hear some of the funny moments from mother-to-be's and from former mother-to-be's.

My funniest moment was when I told the father of my first. I showed him the stick that I pee'ed on and told him he was going to be a daddy, and he asked me, "Did you have one of your pregnant friends pee on that?" I thought I was going to die laughing. Let me hear yours. (Anytime through out your pregnancy)

I have so many!! LOL

I remember reading that a chemical is released by your body to help loosen your ligaments for childbirth. The problem is that it loosens ALL your ligaments, and it makes some women really clumsy.

I was one of those women.

One day I in the kitchen with hubby, and I had an old jar of jelly that I wanted to throw away. I turned to head toward the trash can and it literally flew out of my hand and missed my husband's head by half an inch! I felt soooo bad, but he just laughed at me. He came over and rubbed by tummy, saying "Baby, you're getting fat."

Now he wasn't talking about me, he was talking about the baby. But I thought he meant I was getting fat, and I burst into tears. I had never been a crier, and I could tell DH was about to totally flip out - here I was, throwing things at him and now crying! So I tried to cover it up by laughing, and wound up with a horrific case of the hiccups.

It didn't take long for me to decide that the best thing I could do was take a nap!

My funniest moment so far (I am 32 weeks pregnant) was at my 22 week scan. We wanted to find out the sex of the baby but the little monster was asleep with his/her legs crossed and the cord right inbetween. The sonographer jiggled my belly with the stick thing but baby still wouldn't wake up so she asked me to quickly move from side to side - all the way over!! My fiancee said I looked like a metal patient thrashing around on the bed and it still makes us chuckle. The bed was squeaking and moving around and the sonographer turned to my fiancee and said 'she doesn't move very quickly does she'! I was quite big even then and have huge boobies so it was hard going from my left side to my right side (its even harder now!)!

We never did find out what we are having but I am convinced its a boy - esp as he/she wouldn't wake up after all my moving around.

Once I got 7-8-9 months pregnant and I had to wake up in the middle of the night to pee I had to wake my husband up so he could help me out of the bed, my belly was so big I couldnt get out of the bed by myself, I always thought that was funny.

Okay, this made a labor and delivery nurse bust out laughing.....Okay so I was in preterm labor (mild but active contractions) at only 5-6 months. So I had to be admitted to the labor and delivery unit for observation. Well, they told me to watch t.v and lay as still as possible to get an accurate reading on the monitors. So I did. Well, about 15 to 20 mins later she and another nurse came back with a shot. She told me it was magnesium sulfate and it would stop my contractions....she said it had various side effects on people so I would have to stay to see how I reacted to it. She told me to roll on my side and lift up the arm part of the gown. When I asked why, she replied "I have to give you the shot in the fatty part of your arm". My funny but serious reply was "Can you not give it to me in the butt?" She had told me that it had to be injected in the fatty part of the arm. So I looked at her all serious and said "But my butt is FATTER than my arm!!!!" She about hit the floor in hysteria!!! She said that I had made her day and that she had never had a response quite like that!!!!

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was going to one of my last prenatal appointments and a stranger walked up to me, grabbed my belly, started rubbing it and said "oh,it's so cute!" and just walked away...Kinda weird but funny too.
