hello everyone. i am due to have my second boy on march the 12th. i just stuck my finger inside myself just to see if maybe i could feel the babies head. about 2 inches in i felt something very very very hard kinda upwards too... is this a good sign that labour could happen soon? my first was 13 days late and i realllllly dont want that to happen again!

Hi im 34 weeks right now with my first and i was wondering if it is normal for movment of the baby to slow down i DO still feel the baby move and kick STRONG everyday but to me it seems like it dont move as much as lets say a fue weeks ago is this normal or am i being paranoied?

How about if you eat Tuna curry before you check the pregnancy test, does it has any affect? what if the pregnacy test's result you check turn out to be 3 times positive, is that really true that you are pregnant?and how do u do abortion?and how much does it cost in canada, if you know?

I have 4 boys now, and im pregnant with the 5. My dr said it was a girl at first got my hopes all up then, he turned around and said it was a boy. Im so upset and no one understands y.... cause its my last baby.... Does anyone feel me on this?

A friend of mine is in quite the dilemma. She has just started dating this guy, whom she has been friends with for quite some time. The guy she is seeing has a child with another woman. The guy was just notified within the last week that his ex is pregnant and it is his for sure, when asked how she knew it was his for sure she replied to him telling him that she had an amnio done and they tested the unborn baby's DNA against the son's (which is the biological child of the man ) and it came back that they shared the same DNA and therefore supporting that the unborn child is indeed the man's child. Now my question to you because I am not sure how paternity especially this kind of testing is done. Is this at all possible?

They took my blood sample right after I had my home pregnancy test to confirm that I'm pregnant. I had several miscarriages and the doctor knows it. They called my husband that now they want to take my blood sample every week until week 11 to check something. Anyone know what they want to check with this weekly test? Well, I could ask them on Friday but I'm kind of freaking out right now.

Most of the time, an ambulance or ride to the hospital is not far away. High risk pregnancies are not supposed to have home births, if there are any indication of problems they go to the doctor immediately. My mother has done 100's and 100's of home births and is a nurse for a hospital. She has never had a problem or a complication that has hurt anyone because the first indicator of a problem they are at the doctors. Is it just because they have distorted knowledge of home births, or just because they are ignorant of home births? I was just wanting to know. This is my first pregnancy and though I am not having a home birth, would not grimace at the fact that I could. If anyone for or against home births please explain this to me. My cousin and many family members have had home births and no complications.

I have a hyper little dog and 2 cats. I live in the basement (1/2 duplex suite). I have a lovley suite and it is clean and homey (I think). It is very nice and 1 000 sqaure feet. But I feel nervous... like living in a basement is 'low class and poor' or having pets is 'dirty and makes people not want to be around'. Most of these feelings are from my mom's attitude, especilaly about the pets. How do I have her in my home with confidence tomorrow?

I am due on March 31st. Since I am having a scheduled C-section, they said I could schedule it anytime from the 24th on. My husband is going to be off work anyway from March 21st - 25th and I'd like to schedule the C-section 3 days earlier than the earliest date they gave me. The dr. said he'd consider it but wanted me to consider the risk. All my ultrasounds put the baby at 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule developmentwise anyways in size, etc. Would 3 days really cause me to be putting my baby at that much more risk or would it be okay to go ahead and bring it on the 21st? Please give me some pros and cons here. It would be easier to have it here where he's already off and we don't have to use additional vacation days.

I have decided to become a gestational surrogate this summer. I was just curious what risks were involved, as far as the intended parents and my relationship are concerned. I am a mother myself, so I know all about pregnancy, but I guess I'm just wondering what the intended parents are going through, and what they think about their surrogate, etc. ? It would really help if I could get an answer from someone who has been on either end.

So, my boyfriend and I agree that I don't want him going in me. So, we grind with clothes on. Also, I examine his penis and it was just warm but it didn't seem like there was any liquid that leaked. Later that night, I thought I rubbed my self down there. It's been about 7 days, 1 week, since my 3-day period and all the tests I took was negative and I'ver been having a lot of cramps, head aches, breasts tenderness. Still, I'm paranoid and seek a lot of answers to knock my senses. Please help!

well i ate luch about 3 hours ago i had a chiko roll and a ham cheese and tomato sandwhich. just now i started having these really bad cramps like the ones you get when you are about to have diorrhea the cramps were that bad i had to stop walking down the stairs beacuse i thought i was going to lose the baby anyways i made it to the toilet and first of all my poo was all hard and stuff then it became runny and it was yellow what does this mean oh and also this is the first time i have done a poo for like 3 days!! whats wrong with me??? I have bad dreams every single night! I'm not exagerating. They range from mildly bad ones to nightmares, but they are never normal. I am 25 weeks pregnant. I've had some strange pregnancy dreams like giving birth to a dolphin, but it's the nightmares that freak me out. Sometimes i am still scared when i wake up and i snuggle a little closer to my hubby. Have any other pregnant women had a problem with nightmares?
