I know exactly how you feel. I would probably be feeling the same way. I also have four boys of my own. The Doc said when they did the test on my oldest he was supposed to be a girl. My youngest are twins. I already had two boys when I found out she was pregnant with twins. I wanted girls so bad that way I could have two boys and two girls. Nope they were boys. I was upset and I had to walk out of the room for a second to get a breather. I was upset really bad. I still want a little girl I want a Daddy's little girl.

I know that when they say its a boy, they are almost always right.
I know how you feel, I had 2 boys and then I had a girl and she was soo precious and is 3 now and terribly spoilt especially by her dad. She is very girly and does not play boyish things at all. I am expecting my fourth any minute and I sort of assumed it would be another girl - a sister for her.
At my 20 week scan I asked and the scanner was really harsh and abrupt, she said , of course it's a boy, can't you see? This was a bit of a shock, especially the way she said it, as this pregnancy had been like my daughter's and I'd sort of only really expected a girl. Tears suddenly came to my eyes through the shock although I was very glad that baby was ok, that is the main thing of course!
When I told my daughter later that day she cried and cried, it was terrible how gutted she was as she'd really wanted a sister. However she is now ok and all ready for her new baby brother. For me, I will love the baby to bits anyway and just hope and pray that everything goes well and the baby is ok. However I've washed and ironed all my boys old clothes which took ages so if its a girl that will be funny, I'll have to get all my daughter's old clothes boxes out then! Anyway, there's still another chance - you don't have to give up at 5, I know someone who had 7 girls and then had 2 boys!

I totaly understand you desire to have a girl. I want one too, but I havent had any yet. I just thought I would offer you something to think about. I know a family that had 4 boys, and 1 girl. The girl never got to do girl stuff, it was always boy stuff because there were more of them. She seemed to have some problems with this, and ended up in trouble later in life. I know another family with 2 boys and 1 girl, same thing. She wound up getting into drugs, loosing one of her kids, and now she has a daughter, and is doing well. We dont know how long this will go on for. So I hope that if you do get your girl, That you always show her love, and support. Never leave her out,and always make sure she gets to do her stuff as well as the boys.
I know you want a girl, and its easy to say that you would never be like them. But sometimes life is rushed and you are on limited time. It is so sad when this situation happens. Good Luck, and I hope you get your girl.

A friend of mine had 3 boys and was having her last. The doctors told her the whole time it was a girl.
They were thrilled. Went and bought girls clothes, redecorated the bedroom pink, etc. Guess what? It was another boy.
She was so upset. She had some major depression after the baby was born.
I only had 2, a boy and a girl. But, I felt so bad for my friend. I do understand why you are so upset. But, with my friend, doctors can be wrong. You still have a slight chance of the little girl you want. I wish you the best.

Our first child was a girl and the doctor said the whole time she was a boy. Our second was supposed to be a girl till about month 6 and they changed their mind. He turned out to be a boy. I don't put much stock in what sex they say the baby is. Just pray for a healthy baby and maybe you will be surprised and get that girl you want.

My sisters friend got told she was having a girl, they decorated the spare room in pink and lilac, and bought loads of pink newborn clothes, and she turned out to be a Lewis instead of Louise when HE arrived, needless to say they were gutted, not at having a boy, but at having to re-decorate and buy more new clothes! One of my boyfriends Mum's friends at work got told she was having a boy, which turned out to be a girl! So they can get it wrong, and after hearing about those two, I'm not going to bother finding out until he or she gets here! I can understand why your feeling a little down after getting your hopes up, but the doctor really shouldn't of told you if he had the slightest bit of doubt. Whether your carrying a baby boy or a baby girl, I'm sure you will love it all the same xxx

No just the opposite. She was told she was having a girl and it ended up being a boy. Her 5th boy. She had all those pretty pink dresses, pink everything for her baby shower. It was so sad. Then to top it off she got pregnant again and guess what she has a half dozen boys.

It could be a girl, sometimes the labia can look like testicles (and vice versa). I totally unterstand. 4 boys is a handful, just a little girl would suffice. I feel the same in a way but I only have 1 girl and another girl on the way.
Good luck though :)
