Wouldn't taste very good. Try filtered water. With distilled, you might want to add a pinch of salt just so it tastes right.

Deionized water will suck electrolytes out of your system, in fact it will hurt your mouth if you try to drink it.

What's wrong with tap water?

Distilled water has had minerals removed that your body needs. It really is not good to drink it because it will pull those minerals out of you into the water. It has to do with the negativity of ions and stuff.

yea, its ok - you are right that distilled water has no minerals in it... which makes it 100% pure ... so you lose minerals but you also lose trace toxins. most OBGYN docs give their patients a vitamin / mineral supplement anyway... or if you eat enough fruits and vegitables, they have way more minerals than tap water.

If you are taking a prenatal vitamin I don't think you would be mineral deficient by not drinking tap water.

Distilled water is ok. Make sure that you are on a good prenatal vitamin.

Very simple to state: *Any water is better than none at all (given that it's not dirty, of course!)
FYI- If you are bottle feeding your baby and want to use bottled water, make sure you get the nursery water, b/c regular bottled water does NOT HAVE FLUORIDE! It's important for teeth development!

my guess is that it is probably safer than tap water cuz tap water has flouride deliberately put into it which is a poison.
