Hi, guys do you think that pregnancy test really accurate?

How about if you eat Tuna curry before you check the pregnancy test, does it has any affect? what if the pregnacy test's result you check turn out to be 3 times positive, is that really true that you are pregnant?and how do u do abortion?and how much does it cost in canada, if you know?

Foods and drugs of any sorts have nothing to do with testing positive for a pregnancy test it reads for one hormone in your body that is dormant till you get pregnant and goes of the levels of that if you took three tests and they are all positive you are probably pregnant. The best way to ensure that is go see a doctor they can tell by just pushing on your stomach and taking a urinalysis. I am from US so I am not sure how Canada works but we have a pregnancy/STD centers that are government funded and they can test you and give you options that you will need some places like that even do on-site abortions. If not a local doctor can help you as well or look in the phone book they list in there to.

Once you have a missed period, pregnancy tests are very accurate. The best time to take one is first thing in the morning, when the HCG chemical is the most prevalent (this is the chemical found int the body that determines pregnancy- only found in pregnant women) It is much more common to have a false negative than positive, so, chances are the tests arent lying. Tuna Curry should not affect this. But, try it in the morning and you should be sure. As far as an abortion goes, I dont know about the price in Canada, but this is something you really have to sit and think about. Im not trying to preach, but you are going through a really emotional experience. I know its really scary. I would talk to someone; if not your parents, look in the phone book and there are lots of pregnancy help centers. If your situation is what I think it is, its vital to talk about it. First off, pregnancy test that show positive are rarely wrong (unless taking a fertility treament for hcg, or not reading the results before expired time). If you are asking how to do an abortion yourself the answer is you don't. Go to a clinic and have it done. I am not sure of the cost, but they should discuss that with you and tell you what the risk are at the clinic you go to. I wasn't sure what you meant by how do you do abortion. It sounded like you were asking how do you do it yourself. I apologize if that is not what you were asking, but it is what it sounded like you were asking. False positives are highly rare. Eating tuna does not affect the results of the test and three test are not likely to be wrong. Of course false negatives tend to be a little less rare because sometimes the hcg is not in detectable amounts for an hpt and blood test are usually needed. Try not to panic and though you may be sure of your decision, make sure you talk to your doctor about anything you may be concerned about and they will also let you know all of your options. I myself do not believe in abortion (personal self), but I would much rather someone have it done at a clinic than them doing it themselves and getting killed. I have seen people on here ask how to do home abortions themselves and most of them ask about coat hangers and things that can pose significant dangers to themselves more than anything. The majority of them are very young.

Yes, if a pregnancy test comes out positive, ESPECIALLY when it came out positive 3 TIMES then you need to see a doctor because the test has positively identified a hormone in your urine that only is prevalent when you are pregnant!
You need to discuss with a health care professional about the fate of your child. I will not use the "A" word because I dont' beleive in it myself, but there are other options out there for young women who are not ready for a child.
Think about that in the future before you ever have sex again!

Yes it means you are pregnant if you have a positive. The tests are pretty accurate. If you didn't want a baby then why didn't you be a bit more careful? If you are old enough to be having sex then you are old enough to step up and take some responsibility!

If she is 5 days late you can take a test and it be pretty accurate! If it comes out negative and she still hasn't had her period after a few days then take another test and then tell her to got to the doctor to find out what might be wrong if it still comes out negative.

yes there pretty much accurate...i dont think foods you eat will effect the result..if you had 3 positives then yes you are pregnant...abortions are done by a doctor...each clinic has different prices and policies! you would have to call and find out for yourself

well i have 3 and i was negative with all 3, had to have blood work
so if ur hormones are not strong enough than it wont show postive and thats what happend to me,
but in ur case ur probably preg. go to the dr if u want to know for a fact
