Congratulations.....
What you are experiencing is completely normal, the further in your pregnancy you get the less your baby will move, as their room is restricted, your uterus expands 500 times its normal size throughout the duration of a pregnancy.. Being a mother of 3 I used to get really paranoid about a month before my due date, cos I hadn't felt the baby move for a whole day...On consulting the doctor I was told that in the last 6 weeks of pregnancy, you should feel your baby move approximately 5 times in a 24 hour period, and to enable this to happen, drink a glass of iced water, works a treat every time.. Because you are actively doing things during the day, you may not notice your baby's movements...Like my with my pregnancies, they were more active when I was trying to get to sleep at night.. If you do get worried, then don't hesitate to ring the hospital and speak to a midwife, they are more than happy to help..
I wish you all the best of luck, and congratulations again on becoming a mum..

Hi, as long as you do feel some strong kicks the baby is probably fine, just running out of room. My doctor gave me a chart to fill in at the end of my pregnancy and I would record when I felt movement. As long as I felt 10 movements before 6pm It was ok . I found this to be very reasuring as I could look to see when the last kick was felt. If you are still feeling its not quite right, ring the doctors and they will probably tell you to come in and put you on the trace machine. They strap a belt around your belly that can detect movements or contractions, again very reasuring. Good luck.

Imagine being in a comfortable stretch limo for 7 months and then being shoved into a geo metro. Ok, it's not exactly the same, but i think you get the idea! My son did the same thing! The baby gets so big and your belly can only stretch so far, so as long as you are feeling the baby move atleast 4 intervals a day, it should be fine.

The baby is getting bigger and he/she has less room to move around. Im 33 weeks and i notice the same thing.

Nothing to worry about.
But if you really are worried, do Fetal Kick Counts. Drink something sweet and lay on your left side. If the baby kicks 5 times in one hour, everyhting is alright. If its less, go to the docotrs, something may be wrong.

Congradulations and good luck!!

as your baby grows it starts to run out of room in there whereas they become slightly less active but if you still feel your baby move everyday then you have nothing to worry about . Congratulations!

I would'nt worry about the baby,as long as you can feel it moving everyday than Im sure it is fine.
I have two kids and my second did that and I asked my doctor and he told me that she was fine that babys sometime do that.
But if you are still concerned, definately ask your doctor at your next appointment. Good luck!!!!!!!!

No need to worry, it's perfectly normal! As your baby grows, he/she has less room to move. Congratulations, you're almost there!!!

I wish you and your family the very best!

TOTALLY normal. It's getting bigger and running out of room. As long as you still feel some movements regularly every day, everything's fine.

Congratulations!

My guess is there isn't enough room in there for the baby to get a good swing in as often.
