Pregnancy - March 2007

Did you have your labor induced? With petosin? I'm a week over my due date, and am set for an induction in two days if I'm not in labor by then. I'm already at 3cm and the docs say my body is ready. How long was your labor? And do they give you anything for pain up front, or do they make you wait it out?

I am due in May. I have been waking up more and more at night and can't go back to sleep due to very strong sharp leg and hip pain. I have tried taking Tylenol before sleeping and I still wake up with them. If i take anything while in pain I feel very groggy in the morning.I've tried stretching up to 2 twice a day and even walking it still doesn't help. This is #4 for me and never had this with the first 3 so it's new to me. What can I do?

I had one at 11weeks after being sent to the hospital for cramps, which then they told me me due date, now i am almost ready for my 20week one and people from my side and my boyfriends side want to come. I really just wanted my bf to be there but what worrys me is not knowing what 2 expect, will i have to get undressed and change into a gown, or do nething else becides just pulling my shirt up a little? I really dont want to be stuck with his family there and be told to get undressed or to be told i will need some somthing vaginal done. Can someone whos been threw this already tell me what to expect? thank you

I have been very sick with the stomach bug, throwing up and diarrhea. I got nervous and took a pregnancy test today to make sure all of that didn't do something to the baby. Now the line is lighter that it was before. I am 7.5 weeks pregnant with a past miscarriage and am so scared. Does the line ever get lighter without a miscarriage or is this a definate sign we've lost the baby again?

My last period was in nov...i can not remember what day. I am pregnant and was unable to give the doctor the day of my last period. In sept i had my period for one day and then oct and nov i cant remember. He did a vaginal ultrasound and he told me how far along i was. My question is how accuarte is this ultrasound??.....

I just recently received it (month 1/2 ago) and I absolutely hate it! My period was late and my cramps were SO bad. They haven't been that bad since I was 12. A week and a half later I was still on my period, usually only last 5 days. I have tried just about every form of birth control. I couldn't remember to take a pill everyday for the life of me. Did the patch, interacted with medication I was on, made me very sick. Did the NuvaRing, got pregnant. I am unsure about IUD's as there is alot of family history of female problems and just don't want to risk it. My question is does being on the shot get better or will it continue to make me moody, gain weight, and have the never-ending period? Has anyone liked the Depo shot?

Friends i want you to give some supportive answers.i discussed my issue in my last question. i would clearly mention that we are not killing any baby. but i want to ask is that she feels that something would might have gone wrong. so is it advisable to take some kind of birth control pills as we already had sex. and the duration was about 15 days. so if she takes some pills, it won't get any kind of side effects to her.
thats the only thing which we both are getting worried about.
so pls kind advise me which particular pills should i suggest her to take.

I have passed my due date and saw my midwife yesterday, she said that she was unable to book me into be induced, and that it had to be a doctor that did that.

I am pretty sure that a midwife has the ability to do this, and feel like i have just been fobbed off. My last 2 pregnancies have gone over by 9+ days and have asked repeatedly to make sure this didn't happen again.

I now have to wait another 9 days before i get to see anyone, i am very upset by this. Can someone give me some advice please.

8 weeks and the baby's heartbeat was 176bpm. When I went to the doctor both times he has never measured my belly at all and I am showing. All he has done is push on my stomach and ask if it hurts. He didnt even go over the ultrasound at my last appointment.is this normal?

i am really in worried so plz kindly help me out to wat i would do. the matter is like i did had sex with my gf and i really love her a lot, but we haven't used any kind of protection when having sex. i was very much confirmed that i haven't get the ejeculation when doing sex. i was in my control. but she feel that something has gone wrong.. and she feels to take some medicines so that nothing could happen i.e she can get pragnent.

I kindly request you to all my dear friend to help me out in this matter, just suggest me which kind of medicines she should take and would be advisable.

Ok, heres the deal. I had my last period almost 8 weeks ago! Two weeks back I thought I was having my period, but it was only light bleeding for 1 day, mainly just spotting. I took a pregnancy test a week ago, came out negative, and took one today, and came out negative, but im having cramping (not period) like I did when I was pregnant with my first son, I feel nausiated here and there throughout the day, and my back hurts. Ive also had an increase in appetite.

Ok so at 1st i thought it didn't happen this month and i was getting my normal cycle, but its late 4 days and no sign of it tender breast but thats it. me and my husband tried conceiving this month but i really didn't think it happen but these cramps are kinda weird?feel like my period cramps confused?
