Ok, heres the deal. I had my last period almost 8 weeks ago! Two weeks back I thought I was having my period, but it was only light bleeding for 1 day, mainly just spotting. I took a pregnancy test a week ago, came out negative, and took one today, and came out negative, but im having cramping (not period) like I did when I was pregnant with my first son, I feel nausiated here and there throughout the day, and my back hurts. Ive also had an increase in appetite.

make an appointment with your doctor. A blood count test can be done to detect hcg levels, it is far more accurate than a urine test. It could be that you dont have enough hcg in your urine to be detected in a pregnancy test. The spotting could be something as simple as implantation bleeding, which happens when the fertilized egg has attached itself to the womb lining, and isnt really anything to worry about unless the bleeding got worse, but it could also be more serious like that you may be about to miscarry before your pregnancy has even started properly. Either way, only a visit to your doctor will resolve your problem.
Hope this helps x

If the pregnancy test is negative after 8 weeks, you are definitely not pregnant. It would be able to tell by now. You should contact your GYN about the issue with your period and she should be able to get you back on track and make sure you are ovulating.
