Just had my membranes stripped this afternoon, nothing is happening yet...no weird discharge and my water hasnt broke so is it safe to have sex? Thanks

Yup.. until your water breaks, then NO TOUCHY!!!!! In fact, sex may make things move along for you. Stripping membranes help release hormones that can trigger contractions and cervix changes, sex does the same thing, so having sex is just double the fun!! But be careful! It can be uncomfortable once you have been stripped, so take it easy! Walking will help too, so start walking!! Good luck!! I hope things get moving really soon for you!!

Technically, it is safe to have sex until your water breaks, but just be careful! If you're ready to have the baby anyway, sex may be just the thing to get that baby outta there! Good luck, it won't be long :)

as long as you aren't leaking fluid you bet!!
With my 2nd my midwife stripped my membranes and then said "ok now you can go home and have sex"

go for it!!!
