I am getting anxious to begin buying baby stuff, but I am only 14 weeks pregnant. Where do I start? What kinds of things are reasonable for me to start buying right now? I don't want to wait and buy things all at once.

I am 24 weeks pregnant. Lately my insides have really been hurting me. Doesn't matter how I sit, or lay, I just hurt inside. More than likely it's because the baby is growing and my insides are stretching... does anyone else have this feeling? I know my back is soooo sore too. Just wondering if this is normal.

I am going to the hospital Friday and they are giving me some type of cervix pill to soften it and i guess induce me. I was just wondering about the epidural ans what I can expect. Does the shot itself hurt and how intense will the pain be with it. Oh and also has anyone been given the pill before I would like to know what to expect.

I am guessing it still means negative, but why did it show up so lightly? I can barely see the negatvie...the window that shows if the test is working is 5 times darker than the negative result??? i havent had a period since jan...

im 28 weeks and 6 days pregnant and was on google images and the women on it that are 28 weeks are loads bigger than me found one woman with same size bump and she was 20 weeks! i dont see my midwife again for about 4 weeks should i be worried? my baby is still kicking

My bf (John)and I have been together 3 yrs but 5 months ago we broke up because he was not sure if he wanted to get married. I was angry and had a fling with an ex. bf during this time.The break up with(John) lasted 3 months and then we got back together.All has been going well for the last 2 months and the wedding is next month.I went to the doctors because i had bad cramps only to find out i am 4 months pregnant.My doctor beileves the child is my ex. bf's child is there any chance it could be my bf's?

Hey everyone! On February 22nd I had a blood test done for routine prenatal care that showed I had an elevated thyroid. They gave me a prescription for Levothyroxin (Synthroid) and I have been taking it for a little over a week. I started having the "bad" side effects such as, fainting, throwing up, diahrea, dizziness, and head aches. I called my doctor and couldn't get through to him, but the nurse told me to cut the dosage in half and take the pill at night. I went one day without taking the pill and felt great. I took it last night and passed out and threw up this morning. I am just wondering if I am taking the right medicine or what?? They said I have "elevated thyroid" and my level was 5.9 and normal is 2.1. They said it was Hypothyroidism. I researched it and as far as I could tell "hypo" is for low levels of hormones and "hyper" is for high levels of hormones. Can anyone help me!? Am I taking the right medicine or am I just allergic to it or what?! HELP!

i went and had a 3 d sonogram done this past saturday ...and when they did it ..my little boy is actually holding his legs and his toes are touching his forehead..and hes laying sideways in my belly...and when i went to the ob on monday she told me by 32 weeks if he doesnt start to move to the head down position they will have to start manually trying to get him that way...so when should the baby have his head down?

I am 35.5wks pregnant - and i'm sick it. Every part of my body hurts, i no longer sleep due to discomfit which makes me so tired i could drop, i'm still working full time so i'm like a zombie alot, baby is engaged which is causing alot of pressure on my pelvic bone, i have to use the toilet atleast every ten minutes and i just want it to be over!

I love my baby of course and want baby to come when baby is ready... and yet on the other hand i want baby to be ready really really soon! lol.

Is anyone else wishing away the days until there child is born?

Should i really be admitting that i'm sick of it? Does it sound horrible to hear that?

I have not had my period for nearly two months now,i have done several tests and they have shown negative but not the strongest of lines.Im feeling tired all the time and go to the toilet alot espically at night.My breasts fell quite tender and have very bad back pains.I have an appoitment at the doctors tomorrow but am a little worried,what other reasons would there be for me being two months late?Thanks in advance

I think my baby (11 week old boy) might have reflux. He fuses when he nurses and afterwards sometimes doesn't like being laid flat, and then fusses a lot and arches his back and his legs get straight and stiff? And when he cries sometimes it's like a coughing cry, like the beggining of a cough and then a cry over and over? Any help would be appreciated 1st baby!

I am close enough to 39 weeks and at my drs appt she told me that the baby was 2/5 engaged, last time I went she said it was fully engaged. I am a bit confused why would it go up instead of down? Also she said that my cervix is softening and It measured at 41 weeks, and has warned me its going to be a big baby, what are the chances of it coming early?
