No, all women are different. I always had a humumgus belly. I had a sister in law who only gained 14lbs and didnt even look preg untill the last month and had a baby that weighed over 8 lbs. So I think it will all be ok.

NO - do not be worried. It is very normal for a first pregnancy not to be too big. Your body has not yet been stretched. Everybody has different body types and this comes into play.
When I was pregnant I was so sick of people telling me I was small. I remember having a conversation with someone asking how I was going and I said good only 9 weeks to go and someone else said congratulations your nine weeks preg.
As long as when you have your antenatal checkups the midwife/dr says bub is the right size then don't listen to anyone else!
(I was smaller than my sister-in-law and I had the bigger baby!)

I am in the same boat as you. My bump looks very small and people constantly comment on that. I asked my doctor and he said that even after 20 years of practice he can not visually estimate how far along a woman is. The best way to check is the ultrasound ( weight of the baby), and also fundal height measurements (with tape). Good luck! Do not listen to so-called experts !!! Also, many women think that pregnancy is an excuse to indulge in way too much junk food and sweets, and end up looking like cows at the end !!!!

No way. dont even worry about it. Im 34.5 weeks along and dont look like most women do at even 25 weeks. I didnt seem to get any bigger after I hit around 25 weeks. My Dr. said everything was fine and the baby is actually a little over weight..so just because your not big doesnt mean the baby isnt healthy..it just means theres less for you to lose later. Good Luck

It's like anything else- maybe you are a smaller woman than the one you saw in the picture. Maybe the woman pictured has had children before. Many women say that their 'bump' grows faster with their second or third children (because the muscles in the abdomen are stretched out from the previous pregnancies.)
I wouldn't be worried about it, but you could always call your midwife and ask.

I wouldn't be too worried, babies come in all sizes. If there were any real concern your midwife would have noticed the last time she seen you. Of course if you are just really worried, you can always go to the Dr and get an ultrasound. Try not to worry. Good luck!

No... every woman carries differently and some women barely show at all, but have normal, healthy, happy babies.
Stay calm, and make sure the baby continues to move. Then talk to your midwife about your concerns at your next appointment. I really do think you're fine, though.

Don't be worried at all! I am 35.5wks pregnant and have an acquantance who is five weeks behind me and i look alot smaller than she does. At my parenting class everyone else was surprised that i was 35wks along because, apparently, i look like i'm 24/25wks (although i feel huge.... don't know what THEY are all seeing! LOL). Yet my fundal height is right on par. I've spoken to my doc too and was told not to worry about how every one else looks - every body is different. If something were wrong your doc would tell you - be thankful you aren't huge (thats what people tell me anyway!).
Best of luck to you and baby!

This is not abnormal at all! Each woman has a different size "bump" in pregnancy depending on their size and stature. If you are overly concerned, call and talk to your midwife. I'm sure she can put your mind at ease. Good luck!

if your doc has not said anything yet you should be okay. If something is wrong they will tell you. I was small most of my preg and then loaded on the lbs near the end (probably from me worrying about being small I said gimmie the icecream!) Everytihng turned out okay and I had a heathly 7lb 5 oz baby
good luck with your pregnancy!!!
