The idea that bathwater will somehow get inside and hurt your baby is an old wive's tale. You don't want to make the water too hot, as raising your body temp isn't good for you, but bath foam should be fine.

You are fine to take a bath the only thing that you would need to be concerned about is the temputure of the water. If it's too hot it'll rasie the temputure of the baby as well.

Nope. Bathing has been one of the only things that relaxes me during my pregnancy... and one of the only places I feel comfortable. I've been taking them since the day I found out I was pregnant. My doctor has assured me that this is FINE, just don't let the water get too hot, as overheating is a danger.

not unless you get yeast or urinary tract infections easy..i cant take baths like that b.c i am proned to those things..and if you get a bacterial infection you will have to be put on antibiotics..but if you have no problem with those kinds of baths..no you wont hurt the baby either way..good luck and congrats.

You are absolutely fine up until your water breaks. Women have babies in baths all the time. No problem, Just watch yourself in super hot water, like in a jacuzzi

Not unless your water has broken. The only way bath water can cause infection is if your membranes have ruptured.

Taking a bath will not harm your baby. The baby is protected in the sac so bathwater will not hurt him/her.
