If you have normal blood pressure you might have pregnancy-induced rhinitis. (Pregnant sniffles) It happens at some point in 90% of all pregnancies. Here's how to stop the runny nose - DRUG FREE.

Try a saline nasal RINSE (not a spray) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean). I've been doing it at work too.

The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot. The special bottle and salt is about $20.

You can do this a often as you like with no bad side effects.

You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. So if you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis. (I put in a link for “what” and “how” – there’s also some good info on wiki)

Claritan. This is the only one that I recommend to patients. It's totally safe and works really good. I take it for my allergies, and you can even take the decongestant kind. Just make sure you have your license with you when you go to pick it up!! It's now a controlled substance. Funny huh?- but true. Alas!!

talk with your customary practitioner. it rather is often counseled to stay away from drugs different than Tylenol on a similar time as pregnant. as long as you're pregnant, stay away from the cats in case you could. Wash your palms heavily after coping with them, and don't substitute the muddle container, have somebody else try this. Cat feces can comprise a micro organism it extremely is risky to the toddler.

After you get some recommendations check them and their ingredients out on this website, I'd give you ideas but I have never dealt with allergies myself.

This website is great for all drugs though, bookmark it :)

Just to be on the safe side, I would just give your obstetrician a call and see what he/she recommends. You don 't want to take a chance in harming your baby.

Sudafed was OKed by my doctor. If you need something stronger-- like a prescription-- as your doctor and he/she can prescribe something safe.
